Pats made a laughing stock of himself over the past few years with his Xitter antics, and his disastrous lolsuit, if the organizers learned about him, or someone gave them a heads up about the sort of clown show that his life has become, particularly calling bomb threats and SWATing on himself, I wouldn't be surprised if they had second thoughts and decided any benefit to having him is outweighed by the downsides.

You know, because he's FAT.

I'm not saying that's what happened, but Pat has a reputation for being a snotty little asshole that picks fights everywhere he goes and alienates people for the most petty of reasons. He's just not a very nice person, add to that he's a giant shit magnet that attracts stalker children that go out of their way and do all kinds of bizarre shit just to fuck with him, and you couldn't blame the organizers for deciding that being connected to Pat publically is more trouble than it's worth.

The problem is the silent majority of people who know about the situation, and say oh THAT guy. Those are the people who quietly kill things in the background; the people who have cancelled opportunities for fats that he never even knew were on the table.

Looks like Pat has been properly unpersoned. He must be absolutely fucking seething.

I don't see the hand of the Pests in this either, not their MO. Thing is, Pat has so many enemies that the list of possible suspects is almost endless. Well said. That's a thought I was trying to articulate, you put it far more succinctly that I would have.
Right on the money.
Pats been at his snotty asshole routine for so long now, and more importantly, he's done it where so many of the wrong type of people have seen, that he's likely gotten the publishing world's equivalent of the "Black Spot" and I wouldn't be surprised if that's why people don't return his calls anymore. People in his industry have noted that Pats gotten himself that reputation, and he has nobody to blame but himself.
I hope childing stalkers 2 year old Xeets and always having the last word in Xitter arguments was worth it fat man.
