Been to Turkey once and they're the close second to Jews in terms of Jewery. If you want to have a good time, stay away from the tourist areas. Food is pretty good though.

Depends where you get the food. Last time I had some Turkish street food (it looked clean and civilized) I spent three days shitting up a hotel bathroom. That's what I get for trusting a Turk.

I may have been lucky. This random joint further from the main street had these delicious spicy shishkebabs with a much more reasonable price and far more pleasant staff. I think this was around Antalya.
