I've legitimately heard arguments that "being trans" must itself be an intersex condition, because "being a woman who was male assigned at birth" must mean they're "non-dyadic".
I don't think theres ever been a human who's been a genuine hermaphrodite (as in a functioning set of both types of sex organs) so called "intersex" are always still either male or female at the end of the day, just fucked up during development.
