It doesn't seem to be simple targeting. Because he is getting tickets in two different counties in the general area where he lives (St. Cloud MN). Both of the counties are semi-rural and you would IMO really have to work hard to get caught that much in that area.

He has three "your an asshole and we hate you on sight" tickets. The first are the failure to update the address on his drivers license. That would almost always be a warning unless you mouth off bad to them or they just really hate you. Getting busted for it twice also means that got the ticket and then STILL refused to fix the problem. The third is the "failure to show due care". That could be alot of different things. But they are things that usually just get a warning.

There are different possibilities IMO and no easy way to know what it is:

1) He and his car are really well known in the area. If they see him, they nail him for something and he never gets any slack. He could have a reputation for being an asshole during traffic stops. He could have something on his record that makes them go hard on him. He could be known and hated as a former local radio guy. Its a semi-rural area so its easier for bad local reputation get established too.
2) He is one of those guys who just will not compromise with the police. He will repeatedly drive right into the same speed trap or the same location the police have staked out. He will speed through the middle of town just asking for someone to go after him.

Aaron announced today that April isn't returning to the Steel Toe Morning Show (maybe after getting advice from Nick this weekend?). About two weeks earlier, this was a pro show and April loved co-hosting.

During the course of the show, he presents two slightly incompatible reasons for this decision. First, he says the ahogs are mean, that April want nothing to do with the show or the fans anymore. Then, later near the end, he says he is getting therapy for narcissism- that he was stressing her out with his constant grandiose demands. I'm not really aware of a therapy that works for NPD, but either way, it suggests that this is a major relationship issue rather than a problem with online trolls.
