It is the fastest way to power. Sure it's dangerous but I am willing to risk more than most people. And so far it has paid off. I am undefeated on the astral planes. I have met up with people with twice my age and experience in the astral realm and their power was nothing compared to mine. I am one of the only ones who can move objects using my astral form (I can only move things as light as a cotton ball and I am willing to prove it to anyone who lets me) and I truly think it is because I absorbed souls of the dying.

I am a NEET. I have spent most of my life apart from society and the only people in my life just wanted to use me because I was good at wrestling and they thought I would make it into the Olympics. Nobody except my rich parents have ever given me anything. I only care about my family and people I am personally close with.

Never thought of abortion centers but that would probably work. Older souls are more powerful though, but I bet younger ones would be easier for a novice to absorb.

If I started at abortion centres, the police might think I'm praying instead of harvesting souls and arrest me. Can these powers be channeled outside the astral realm?

Any machine elves that enter the radius of my home without permission (I live with my parents) are destroyed on site. My parents are safe.

Power does not come without risk. Just sit on a bench and pretend to read a book. It is what I would do when gathering souls at the hospital.
 
It's genuinely heartbreaking that he thinks the entities he lives with are still his parents. Just goes to show the lengths TPTB will go to to punish those opposing them.
