With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

It increasingly feels like this Crash guy is using his position as Shinji's sort-of English interpreter to leverage himself into being his manager and try to squeeze in on some of this attention. It's cringe, but also funny because he doesn't seem to understand how pathetic the attention from Fishtank is

Man, Sam and Jet REALLY did not give a fuck this season. The show ended and they immediately just stop caring. Add that to the long list of reasons season 2 was worse.

I thought housing Josie and Letty for several weeks was a little gay and strange, but there is a charitable middle ground where they at least stay in touch with everyone and tie up any loose threads, like this Shinji thing, or Tayleigh coming away from it with a kinda rough impression of MDE, or whatever else.

Schedule a one-hour call with each former cast member, including freeloaders, ask them if there's anything left on the table in terms of lost possessions or outstanding debts, and make nice. Be grateful. The contestants were the stars of the show, don't treat them like you're a street performer and they just agreed to hold your magic hat for you.
 
We should ask ourselves a question, do we even WANT episodes of S2?
S1 had it's own feel and moments that weren't captured in the shitty editing, but it'd be basically impossible to cover everything of importance without watching the whole thing. Even watching clips and compilations is pretty lame, and you look retarded when you're trying to show your friends how funny shit was.
When I saw the mallet incident and the TJ:Jimmy fight live it was fucking awesome, but weeks later it wasn't the same. I could honestly care less if they did episodes of any season, but with this season in particular it probably would be worse than S1. I'd rather have Jet and crew spend their time and energy planning their shit out better, finding better contestants, and doing background checks so we don't have a Summer GEN2.
But they'll probably just do whippits and keep chasing that girlcock until it's too late, again.

There was a couple of memeable moments that would be cool to keep. But definitely the last 2 weeks we’re such a drag I don’t think there was anything worthwhile aside from the “you had to be there aspect”

Given that the archives seem to be swiss cheesed pretty badly with random fucking movies and shit thrown in we have zero idea what critical moments are missing. Anything Sam and Jet produce is going to be cheap and substandard, a fan group will likely produce a better fan cut episodic format once a public archive occurs.

I think they stopped caring long before it even ended.
I had almost 0 interest to tune into this season. Unlike season 1 where I was glued to it and had a stream of some sort of it going damn near 24 hours a day, until fatty showed up anyway.

After Jimmy quit the 2nd time it was obvious they just gave up. That's when they started blaming the fish for "being boring" even though they were giving them nothing to do.
