Poison/Dark is pretty good typing since the only big weakness to it is Ground. If Alolan Grimer becomes an Alolan Muk and keeps the typing and defensive stats of normal Muk, it could be a good bulky Poke'mon to use.

I'm more curious to see Type: Null's supposed evolution. People have already noted it's similarities to Arceus, and the evolution, if true, makes it even more similar with the ability that lets it change it's type based on what item it's holding.

And if Jangmo-o does become a Dragon/Fighting type, I'm curious to see the design (always been finicky with fighting types for some reason), though I'll feel a tiny bad for it since that opens it up to a lot more weaknesses.

Idk why theres all this "if" about Alolan Persian and Muk, of course it's going to evolve into an Alolan version, why would it just revert back into the Kanto forms?

CoroCoro leaked again!

When Type: Null finds a trainer it trusts, it destroys its helmet and evolves into Silvadi. While it is Normal-type as standard, there is a special hold item called Memory that lets it be one of all 18 types at any one time thanks to its ability, AR System. It's not currently known if it's one item that can change this, or if there are 18 different ones. The type change is reflected in its eyes, mane and tail which glow the colour representing the type. It has a new attack called Multi Attack which changes type based on its hold item.

Silvadi looks pretty cool; will probably put it on my team whenever I'm able to get it.

Janmo-o's evolutions actually look really cool, tool. The scaly headdress on the final evo is neat-o, and I will likely still use Jangmo-o on my team despite the big Fairy weakness it's going to get.

Scizor is finally coming to Pokken Tournament. Can't wait til it hits the console version with Darkrai.

So I've seen some people mention that Silvadi bears a resemblance to Arceus, and it having an almost identical ability is also interesting. Anyone think there will be an in-game mention of a connection?

I hope so. I know on the Poke'mon website it's description mentions it being made to battle mythical Poke'mon, and Arceus could easily fall into that category. Silvadi could have been the man-made variant of Arceus made to fight Arceus and/or other legendaries, maybe even the Ultra Beasts.

I definitely think in-game they're going to bring up that Type: Null and Silvadi were created to fight the Ultra Beasts, but now I want to know if it's a unique pokemon or if there is a way to get more than one without breeding (assuming they can breed).

I like all the unique moves they're dishing out this generation. It's a good way to encourage people to catch more Pokemon. I'm disappointed the Jangmo-o line isn't Dragon/Steel like I was hoping, but I'm happy it has a knight/warrior motif. The Fighting typing makes sense considering it's effective against Dark types but it just brings more weaknesses to the table.

The new Pokemon! They're all evolutions of Pokemon already revealed, it seems.

Ribombee and Steenee are so adorable, omg.

In the Japanese Trailer, Parental Bond was shown to hit at 1/4 power instead of 1/2. Thank goodness.

Keep in mind, Jangmo-o is going to have the potential to be immune to Pixilate Hyper Voice. That's a pretty huge boon.

Jangmo-o is a definite for my team now. That final evo is bamf and I refuse to not have one as a permanent member.

Ribombee is fucking adorable and I love it's design. Has pretty much my top favorite color combos. I might try to use it in-game for a while depending on when it's available and how well it performs, but I can't see it being a permanent member.

Since Rowlet is gonna be my starter I'll be passing on Bounsweet, which is fine because I'm not terribly impressed with the designs of the evolutions. They're not bad, but just not really my cup of tea.

Annnnd Alolan Grimer and Muk. Their designs don't really click with me and Muk's color shifting kinda fucks with my eyes, but I think they'll be pretty good Poke'mon to use. I just won't be using them myself.

Still hyped as fuck and wondering if they'll show off the final evolutions to the starters anytime soon before the game releases.
