Fitting, because Bee's bf is in turn paying the Pooner no mind. Can you imagine the difference at this gathering /situation if it was actually a man acting this way to your gf? It sounds a lot like she very recently had the surgery done too- so these are very new wounds that she shoved his poor girls hand onto. A lot of people get seriously freaked out by body stuff. Faint at a spot of blood on their own body etc. Add that natural propensity some people have, with some traumatic past experience the Pooner mentions (could be anything, a gory car crash where she watched her decapited relative fly through a windshield - anything, pooner couldnt give less of a fuck)

Like it would have been a nice thing to say that she was, like saying that phrase against someone is a comfort wether or not it's true, you should rush to say they are transphobic as a kind of alm, then the Pooner will iron out the facts later, doesn't matter, just as long as everyone rushes to give that up for comfort.
