Oh, they're not encouraging stopping the identification of gay and lesbian, no, they're discouraging the use of the more formal and rigid homosexual. Obviously a gay trans man is gay if he like masc presenting people and a trans woman if she likes fem presenting people, and those people inclide nonbinary genders as you know.

Gay and Lesbian are rigid definitions to 90% of the population, but not people of gender. People of gender use them to feel queerer, a heterosexual appropriation of a "cool" identity and usually a fetish. They're trying to outlaw the proper scientific classification since "homo" is used derogatorily (I've met a young gay sjw man thought homosexual itself was a slur!) so it is more ripe for the toppling than gay and lesbian, the coolest identities outside of transbian and gay tboi on the planet.

They can't do this to heterosexuals yet since there's no body of language control to bully all of them into compliance. Gay journalism is smaller and essier to bully. Even if it gets accepted by journos or even the dictionary, heteros are too preoccupied with everything fucking else to remember they're supposed to say gyno/androphyllic. Hell, same with the lesbians and gays not on the goddamn internet.

My sides are in orbit at the term 'same-gender loving' being the "Afrocentric alternative" to gay and lesbian. I hope some of the authors consider going to tell the Africans that in person. May I suggest Ugandans, specifically?


Anyone who's ever been to much of the African subcontinent can tell you that in general, they are extremely, extremely homophobic. They treat fag-bashing like a competitive sport, and it's outright illegal in about 30/50 or so African countries. Uganda just passed its latest anti-homosexuality law last year, implementing the death penalty for 'aggravated' (?) homosexuality. Not sure if that just means bumming the guy with an angry face or what, but apparently it warrants execution.

It just tickles me that these retards mythologize Africa so much when actual Africans would 1,000% hate crime the author(s)

There's a huuuuuuuuuuge stigma among black men about being gay. You can be anything in the world but you absolutely can NOT be gay. All of your friends will make fun of you and then not want to hang out with you because they'll think you're about to do some gay shit. The mental gymnastics are fascinating: dudes will literally stick their dick in a man's ass and then say "yea but I'm not gay". It's like, actions that gay men would do are acceptable but those actions and the person itself absolutely cannot be called gay.
It's not like homosexuality among black men doesn't exist. The ones who are more likely to initiate prison rapes are black men.

The word gay has such a negative connotation I bet that the man who coined this term did so because so many black men are uncomfortable with being gay, so the only way to make a gay black men affinity group and for it to be taken seriously would be to call it same gender loving. I'm specifically talking about gay black men because I'm pretty sure that black lesbians don't care about being called lesbian. And no other race has this complex so this alternative would be afrocentric by just looking at who's using it.

I've been looking into the "we can't tell the sex from skeletons" discourse and of course it led me to an article by Puke News. For this article they picked two xperts, both biological anthropologists, who deny that sex exists and is binary. Here are screenshots from the article.

The origins of "mlm" (men loving men) and "wlw" (women loving women) are supposedly from black communities, but then again, I got that info from Tumblr.

Meanwhile, public health surveys have "men who have sex with men" as a category for those guys on the down-low.

ETA: I think another source of some of these terms is that they had to come up with a bunch of "ok ok you aren't 'gay' but do you pound other dudes" alt terms in the 90s for medical screening when everyone was dying of AIDS
