A shame, really. Notch using 4chan as his personal pet that he finances but does no actual work on would be hilarious. But I doubt anyone would want to be affiliated with that website and its shenanigans on that level. Supporting it financially is one thing but having cops constantly contact you over bomb scares, hate speech or whatever just seems really too bothersome.

You'd have to be a special kind of weirdo to be interested in running a place like 4chan. :null:

The sad part is I could actually see that shit-eating grin faced goblin doing just that. Assuming he doesn't get his sorry ass thrown into jail within the next year or two, depending on what his legal situation is like.

And if for some reason 4chan does go away -which I doubt will ever happen-, eh, another chan will come up to take its place or 8chan will experience a resurgence. Something something hydra.

Although I will miss /co/ if 4chan does bite the dust. It can become /co/mblr at times, but it's not all that bad.
