There's no since in keeping it alive at this rate, 4chan has become a cesspool of edgy 14 year olds who think they have it all figured out because they blame all their problems on Jews.
 
I don't know why this is a surprise, moot had been expressing financial woes for ages and the 4chan pass system was a desperately obvious ploy to bait users into chucking money away.

4chan has been dead since captchas were introduced, anyways.
 
Ok, fuck, what? This can't happen.
For one thing, if it does, we're gonna get a lot of new users, but probably not the kind we want.
For another thing, I can't imagine the internet without 4chan.
I think that several oldfags getting together to buy it would be the best solution.
 
Someone should buy it and make it dedicated to activism against sexist/pedo culture in Japan.

4chan's death blows were when Moot decided to sell everyone associated with #Gamergate down the river and brought in Hiroyuki Nishimura in the first place. Problem with that was that the majority of those supporting Gamergate were users of the forum and moved to other sites. Bringing in Nishimura just drove a further wedge in their userbase.
