It's $35.95 at the LCBO. That's on par with any bottom shelf whiskey. That's nearly a third the price of my go to, Chivas Regal 12 Year Old Scotch Whisky.

A quick check of whiskey prices seems to support that. There are a few that are a dollar or two cheaper, but Maker's Mark is listed at ~22 bucks in a segment where most things are 30 or 40 minimum.

MM is just average as a bourbon. If I had to choose I'd go with a bottle of Jefferson's.



Jefferson's can vary wildly voyage to voyage so research is needed before splurging on a bottle.

Bourbon doesn't agree with me so much anymore so my go to is Reyka. Best vodka I have ever had. Having worked at a liquor store a couple decades ago I have tried them all.
