One again I could agree with this in a vacuum where this is the only information we have, but you also have to take "The worst day of my life." into account and what little information he gave about it. What little we know is that whatever it was hit him hard, and that he took a couple or a few weeks to make decision. What that was is only speculation, but matches with his "Kayla wants to swing" claim that he made to Faran in this time frame. Last but not least you have "I will be us" something super meaningful to him and Kayla. The pieces fit even with Nicks propensity for lying. From the Faran leaks we get the impression that he was seeking advice from her about it, not prepositioning her about it. This also tracks with his attitude in those first few weeks after the worst day. Nick is scum, if I'm right he still chose to swing as well, he is just as culpable. Given Kayla's history before all this especially her saved playlists on youtube that got merced, it paints this picture.

It involves too many liars, too many drunk and/or drugged people, and the convo we saw wasn't even between her and Nick.

I wouldn't put it on the same level as Hedonism II, for example.

She was probably complicit to begin with in terms of being drunk on stream but from the later parts of the stream I skimmed through I remember her being visibly uncomfortable by the end when Nick was forcing his creepy sex stories into the conversation and Mr. Social Cues didn't notice or didn't care.

I was hoping Faran would;d clarify what went on and also whether Nick wrote that stupid statement she posted after the DMs leaked but she decided to spill her spaghetti all over the thread instead.

Nick described the thread beginning to piss him off around page 950. That's around late November 2022 IIRC.

A couple weeks before that was when the pictures Nick and Kayla had posted to Locals got leaked and the thread was moved. Not sure when that was, maybe 50-100 pages before.

I would argue the latest date for the "downward spiral" beginning would be the "Worst Day" saga in June 2022, when Nick started drinking more and inserting weird sex talk into his show. Checking now, that's around the 500s.

That's around 45,000 to 55,000 posts you'd have to catch up on. I'd wait for the new OP.

Listen, I have seen this time and time again in life, the dudes who fat shame most vocally are the ones who want to fuck the fat chicks.
I have seen dudes who’s girl is a perfect, skinny blonde blue eyed babe cheat on said babe with someone 100pounds heavier. They just hate the imagine of being seen with a fat woman out in public because, oh what horror, to his imagine. As if secretly wanting your partner to be diffrent/cheating on them isn’t a much bigger shame.
Also, seeing your father fat shame people constantly and not eating is a great way how to give your kids an eating disorder, especially when they are teenagers who are generally going through changes and have weird body changes happening. That’s how you make your kid into a crazy person obsessed with their looks, rather than a healthy, well adjusted adult.
 
Worst day of his life is definitely Kayla's doing. Whatever wreck he's up to now, there's no way a wife wouldn't do something about it. Unless she did something so bad that she got no leg to stand on.

That or she has already checked out of the relationship and is just there for the kids.
