Sure, but you can also argue freedom of speech can be granted by collective voluntaryism of the public at large. But why are they around so much? Suppose it’s the opposite, they aren’t there to help but are the ones needing help. Nick has talked of an ongoing health issue in the extended family but then has said all his kids are “fantastic” & kayla is fine, his family is well (aside from his own aids etc) Kayla has a cousin or some relation who has four kids & they also homeschool. Maybe one of the parents or kids has an illness & need a place to stay when chemo times hit or whatever. Maybe the homeschool activities & schedules haven’t changed, it’s the number of kids that are now needing rides & coordination. Or the day trips to the cities are for this persons medical appts. And why kayla is stuck with Nick, her family is in his debt. Of course nick is going to be a salty vague talking bitch about it all & want a return so that’s how him and Kayla are able to go out more, they have two adults staying over when things are chill they dip and go out to party. It depends on what the legality of it is in Minnesota. if things are anything like California, he could get damn near any medication from any number of website or app by just paying the monthly fee and getting on a zoom call once a month.

Though his anecdote about the doctors forcing a full panel of tests on him makes me skeptical that he’s been getting medications this way. Then again, you could very easily go to one of those sites and find a real doctor to give you a bullshit ODD diagnosis, and existence of said diagnosis is all they would be required to have access to drugs like adderall or any number or SSRIs.
