OK, I spilt my water onto my desk. I cleaned it up. What I didn't realize is that more that I thought went ran off my desk onto my power supply, killing it. I now want to fix things as best I can with limited resources atm. My desktop and both monitors are cool. My problem is that I absolutely can't use the browser I normally use to shitpost here on one monitor. It goes to the second and no matter what I do, I can't seem to turn that off. WTF am I doing wrong? The monitor is not powered on or anything but I just can't tell my computer to stop fucking doing that. I tried restarting, going in settings, it just constantly opens up in the second monitor that doesn't work now because no power because I am a fucking retard.

Assuming this isn't a troll...

Before you start:
a) Make sure of the orientation of your monitors so you know what direction to move the window once you grab it.
b) Ensure the working monitor is set to be the default monitor in multi-monitor setup, you may want to Google this process for 10 since I think it has changed since 7.
c) Take your hand OFF the mouse and don't touch it until you're done trying steps 1-3; this is actually important since you can't see what you're doing on other screen and the mouse input can cause the process to fail for reasons which aren't entirely clear.

Now, to grab the window:
1) Alt+tab to window you want to retrieve.
2) Alt+Space.
3) Press M, and then use the arrow keys to move the window...

If only that were true. I am just literally retarded. I honestly thought not that much spilled and I cleaned it all up until my desktop crashed and I went under the desk to figure it out. I am just extremely happy I still have my desktop and monitor setup, but I want to use a particular browser I always use and can't because I don't know why it just continues to open in the second (not dead but not on) monitor. I have tried everything to turn this off, but not getting anywhere.

Edit: Agh, same thing is happening to one of my messengers. FML.

I try this but no matter what screen I click on, it takes me to some irrelevant thing I had open in the first monitor at the time the power supply crashed and never from the second monitor.

No, it is totally off. Without my power supply, I have no way to plug it in. The cord is not long enough and I have no other power supply. I just literally have the machine and the monitor I am using now plugged into the wall which...yeah...hope nothing happens between now and tomorrow morning when I can get something to fix this.

Windows 10. My daughter came here a few months ago and said why are you running such ancient crap on such ancient machinery? LMAO, because all I do is pay bills and shitpost and I just don't need that much. But she is probably correct. My machine is 5 years old and I should consider replacing it.

Seriously, detach the cranky monitor (not just unplug from power) and hard-kill your computer, let it chill a minute or 6 or 30, then try booting up again. If after that your computer is believing you have two monitors, then you have computer damage.

And/or open up the control panel and kill the monitor from there.

5 years for a decent machine if you are just using it for shitposting on the internet, email, the occasional word doc, and fb updates, shouldn't be the problem.
