Sam is planning on releasing a standup special with Nick and Charles before Spring so obviously he doesn't want someone leaking it early. It's really common for comedians to be protective of their live sets. A lot of comedians have a no phone policy and will kick you out if you record them for even one second.
I'm sure everyone will hate his new stuff regardless but that isn't why he's having it pulled down.

His live shows with the WP2 crew have been selling out every night, with large crowds of fans lining up to meet him after. MDE is picking up right where they left off after World Peace was cancelled.

I watched it, good for a 'practicing' set. I do feel like he's getting more laughs than he would normally cause everyone in there is a fan of his though. There are obvious points where he is just free-styling and it doesn't land as well cause the jokes are incomplete.

I'd love to see Nick do some stuff even though he says he is bad at standup, if he just told stories as he does on his stream it would kill, like selling that old mafia woman a Mercedes or killing the guy with a cinderblock for $15,000.

I love Sam's ability to shit on anything and make it funny, but I don't know how well that works long-term, especially with an audience who doesn't know him. It would probably end like most of his other public stand-ups. Then again he could probably tour the US and his fans will buy out every show he does. Unlike Tim Dillon or Gillis, he's never going to get any mainstream attention because of his reputation. He's got the talent for it though in my opinion, but I think he should be more topical and also talk more about India.

I don't know whether Jet deserves his thread since we all mock him solely for his show. Sure we can go on his /r9k/ posts, Worldcorp shenanigans, rap career, or his dad who already has his own thread if we want to mock him other than Fishtank but his lolcowness still focused on Fishtank rather than other things he had done.

In saying that, the other week he said something about letting a dog fuck Stephen Hawking which I thought was quiet humorous.
 
When Sam was filming the finale to Fishtank S2, Charles was reviewing different candies on YouTube with his wife. I don't think he's doing OK. I don't think he's making money and is most likely having creative differences with Sam because of it. His podcast with Eric isn't making money and I don't think a lot of people are even watching. They're scraping the bottom of the barrel for guest appearances and it's usually people like Letty or Vance - after they get done streaming with Sam. The only person they haven't given a guest spot to is Sam himself, and I think that says enough.

I don't think Charles can hack it on his own. That was pretty clear before the reunion and it's looking like he's struggling to face that reality again. I have a feeling he expected the e-fame success to come a lot faster and easier than it actually is. He wants to be successful without Sam but it isn't working out for him, again, and I think he's feeling frustrated by that.

It doesn't help that he's schizo and mentally unwell so he always sees a conspiracy where there isn't one. Channing has probably been going really hard bothering him since nothing else is working out for her. PeggyBigGape was also a really big Charls fangirl. Most women who loudly "hate" Sam loved Charls and constantly defended him as another one of Sam's victims, until he got back together with Sam. He's definitely going through some shit.

But at the same time, MDE is back, fully. They're doing a tour, they're making content again. It's possible Charles feels let down that he isn't as popular and recognized as he would have been in the WP1 era. Sam has an entirely new, younger fanbase who probably don't know who Charles even is. He has to earn his fans.

charls was on several episodes of the Sam and Nick after dark thing as well as with Sam and Nick on the various stand up dates.

You’ve more likely not seen him and Sam together because of commitments to Fishtank.
