Here is a question, how many of the Season 2 cast bonded with an item like the S1 cast did? Betty had her riot helmet, Vance his bat and Letty the dumbbell. Jimmy obviously had the phone which got him kicked, I guess you could point out the painting for TJ, but he didn't really have much interest in it beyond a single evening because Jet ran up and immediately took it to the basement. With Tay I could point out three things, her yarn, her mug and then at the end her sunglasses but she didn't really seem to care when the yarn was destroyed, even to the point saying that she was happy to take a break from crocheting, her mug was always present but that was because she was pounding water to stave off hunger. The sunglasses she wore on her forehead most of the final week but I felt like that was because she was told it was "beach week" not "beach day" so she kept wearing the beach garb beyond the single night. Trish and Shinji didn't seem to attach to items either unless you want to point out Trish hiding in B2 most of the week before she was eliminated.

Season one had the following, although I might be overlooking a few. Most items associated with the fish I've noticed usually play a big part in their arcs. Vance used his baseball bat to break Letty's shit, Jimmy was eliminated due to the phone, Jon almost destroyed Letty's passport because of his Bible, Josie used Queso during the willy wonka skit, etc. This isn't always the case, but I find it interesting.

Simmons: Harmonica
Vance: Bat
Jon: Bible
Mauro: Halo Book
Josie: Queso or Duck Toy
Damiel: Real Phone
Sylvia: I don't recall Sylvia having any item. I guess her overuse of make up might count? Maybe the Uncle Ted book?
Letty: Glasses. Although, this might not count to some because she literally needed them to see.

Season two (still up for debate)

Jimmy: Fake Phone
Cole: Sunglasses
Tay: Probably the yarn, although I think she never really had a deciding item. One could also argue her panties just because of pantygate and her giving them to Frank being two notable things she used them in.
Summer: Never really had an item.
TJ: His hair. Was really the only eye catching thing about him during the first half of the show. Most TJ fans probably consider him losing it a "changing point" in his very artificial arc.
Megan: Never had an item. Closest thing I can think of was the robux gift card.
Brian: Trish and CK (lol)
Trish: Nothing that I can recall.
JC: Closest thing I can think of were the casino chips, only because she was tasked to steal literally all of them.
Shinji: Nothing that I can remember.

Update for sinji fans. He’s going live in 2 days

we're about to witness the fastest dying streaming career, ever
Shinji has the potential to actually be a good streamer, he would often sit up late and just talk to TTS naturally so he can easily interact with chat and keep a conversation going which is pretty much what you need to be able to stream successfully

Here is Jimmy's season 2 rankings. This is not me doing a bit this is real.

Somehow, putting Meg in A tier is the craziest thing he’s said.
Edit: after actually watching it, it really shows just how insane he is. His discord gayop handler in still there with him. He still thinks that everyone in the tank was an actor trying to fuck with him. His ratings are entirely based off who was nice to him. He didn’t put Oliver higher because he thought that he was pretending to not get his autistic Thomas the train reference. He thinks that he was actually fooling everyone and that everyone thinks he was playing a retard. Him calling every black guy brother is pretty funny though. He will still rambling about TJ and the mallet on his deathbed. He will probably have thread by the end of the year.

Man no one likes Trish. I agree but I just find it funny that besides the wiggers most people don't care for her. I found it funny that summers A tier. overall he was more positive then I expected, wonder if we put crew in the tier list where he would put them.

Yeah I thought Tay had a thing with the yarn but she literally didn't care, even laughed when she found how fucked up the yarn pile was, I guess it was just a mechanism for her to pass the time during down periods while she would have a podcast hour with TTS. I don't think she ever managed to clean it up fully either, because even on the final day you can see bits of yarn all over the bunk as TJ frantically looks for the sock with the chips in it. I wonder if the object association happens to fish that don't have the willpower to go onto the offensive and they cope by actualizing with an item to relieve stress from the tank. Tay, Trish, and Shinji would always immediately go on the offensive and smash down the problems they faced when they got fed up. Trish smashed the ash tray, threw milk and slop on Danye in the doghouse, helped Britney draw on his clothes or screwed with Fatty when she irritated him. Shinji got irritated with Tay and dumped a dust bin on her, threw cat food on her in the doghouse, slop on Fatty once with Tay and Oliver and planned a second attack with Tay that was scrubbed when they heard him crying when he was pissed with him. Tay obviously has a huge list of accomplishments.

TJ on the other hand never really went on the offensive on his own accord, he was always brought along for the ride. Fantastic job pointing out his hair, he had serious irritation about wearing the hats after it was cut only for him to later have a moment with the painting about ugliness.

I like Trish, I found her very funny and quite active in the middle of the show, particularly against Jimmy which got him kicked and then alternating between Tay, Danye, and Fatty. Honestly she is probably the #2 most active fish on the show, and her feud with Tay for good while basically defined the post Jimmy period until Frank came in and just nullified it as he took all of Tay's time up.

Putting Charleston White the black rape guy in S tier is also just utterly nonsensical. He was on for one night and was mostly forgettable.

This isn't a terrible list, but it's hilarious how biased it is. By tier list he understood friendship tier list, friends on top, enemies below. Can't get more autistic than that.
its basically split by who to warn not to come to school tomorrow and...

Not sure why some people disagree with you here, Radio was a thing back in the day. Irl talk streams do well too. People are lonely and want people to talk to in this post-covid world....

Well see what you have to understand is that being a victim of sexual assault actually makes you more likely to pass on that cycle of abuse to others. Jimmy being the autist that he is, feels that he relates the most to Charleston, thus likes him the most.

Just Kidding

Saw this poll on the fishtank subreddit and found the results interesting. In a poll of 1300 people (a decent size considering the peak viewership was about 10k) 854 voted that season 2 was better than season 1. Just 249 people thought it was worse. I thought season 2 was very enjoyable but let's be real it was a step down from season 1. I'm interested in what you guys have to say about this.
