My uncle, a professor, literally knows people who can do hits and casually offered to off some cop (for a price) who harassed my dad after he called around to try to get them fired (highly corrupt country). My sister in law's sister is married to a cartel hitman. Etc. Pretty much everyone in Mexico is like two people removed from a cartel member.
