It really makes me curious about the actual state of the marriage and all the crazy shit we just haven't seen yet. Nick has always overcompensated with the constant need to remind others how loving of a husband he is. But then the signs have all pointed to her being very keen to support his delusions, so perhaps in his mind he's got the green flag to do whatever. I go back and forth on Kayla. On the one hand, I think Rekieta is very controlling, and she looks REALLY uncomfortable in that stream, so maybe we got some battered wife syndrome thing going on with her (NOTE: I'm not saying he's actually beating her physically, but she seems to have the psychology of somebody who has endured a lot of emotional abuse and is under a controlling husband).

On the other hand, I think part of being a mother is to grab the kids and get the fuck out. This is not a healthy environment for them. That should be instinctual.

I'm conflicted as to how sorry, if at all, I should feel for her.
