So WikiLeaks have released a new batch of emails.

https://twitter.com/wikileaks/status/775812373269454848

So in it we learn that Obama literally sold Government positions like Ambassador, Chairman of the FCC and such for political donations, that Hillary's health has been terrible for a year and many more emails will be coming out really soon.

So far the funniest part of that leak is from Colin Powell, because

SHOTS FIRED

It's pretty hilarious that Clinton tried to stab Powell in the back claiming it was his idea to set up the private server, then wikileaks comes and uses Powell to leak some of the most damaging emails about her health yet

Leaked emails from former Secretary of State Colin Powell undermine a looming potential endorsement of the Democratic ticket for president. They also show that Powell, major Democratic donors, and even U.S. Senators supporting Clinton have been seriously concerned about whether she is physically fit enough to serve as president of the United States for more than a year.

Former New Jersey GOP governor Christine Todd Whitman, in one leaked email first reported by The Daily Caller, wrote to Powell asking why he had not yet endorsed Clinton for president.

“Have you endorsed her yet?” the late July email, subject line “Hillary,” from Whitman to Powell, read.

“Nope,” Powell responded. “By the way, if you have a WSJ today take a look at my piece on immigration. I can send it you missed. On Oped pages.”

“You’ll recall that in 2008 and 2012 I waited until early fall,” Powell also said, hinting a Clinton endorsement was potentially coming.

On Aug. 2, The Daily Caller also reported, Powell friend and adviser Harlan Ullman asked him: “when are you going to throw the knock out blow?”

“I try not to bother someone who is beating himself and the GOP up. And please, don’t start bugging me like every newsie and getter in town,” Powell answered. “If and when I do it will be known.”

The emails surfaced on the website DCLeaks.com.

Powell, who at one time served as GOP President George W. Bush’s Secretary of State, infuriated Republicans when in the 2008 election he endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. Obama went on to win, and many Republicans considered Powell a traitor for his actions.

Powell’s leftist views and ties to Democrats—and abandonment of the GOP—is no longer shocking, so that’s why when he called GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump a “national disgrace” it hardly stunned readers.

“Former Secretary of State Colin Powell, a retired four-star general who served under three Republican presidents, slammed GOP nominee Donald Trump as a ‘a national disgrace’ and an ‘international pariah,’ according to his personal emails seen by BuzzFeed News,” BuzzFeed wrote in a piece hyped by their fellow progressives at The Huffington Post.

Powell said in the email to Emily Miller—a former staffer for Powell at the State Department, now a television journalist—that Trump “is in the process of destroying himself” so there was “no need for Dems to attack him.”

In the pre-Republican National Convention email—when speculation was mounting that Republicans would steal the nomination from Trump on the floor with delegate games, something they ultimately did not do—Powell added that House Speaker Paul Ryan “is calibrating his position again.”

In another email to Miller, on Aug. 21, Powell blasted so-called “birthers”—people who believe that President Obama was not born in the Untied States. Trump has gotten a reputation for having furthered the theories by pressing the president for answers on them back in 2011, but it was the 2008 campaign of Hillary Clinton—against Obama, a race she lost—that drove such questions about the president into the mainstream.

“Yup, the whole birther movement was racist,” Powell wrote in the email. “That’s what the 99% believe. When Trump couldn’t keep that up he said he also wanted to see if the certificate noted that he was a Muslim.”

Perhaps the most important email discovery, however, were March 2015 emails between Powell and major Democratic Party donor Jeffrey Leeds—in which the two discussed how Hillary Clinton’s failing health concerned several senior Democrats, including a U.S. Senator.

In the email chain about Clinton’s health, and the stories that were brewing in the media, Powell wrote to Leeds on March 14, 2015—more than a year ago—that “I think there is something to it.”

“On HD tv she doesn’t look good,” Powell wrote. “She is working herself to death. After speaking at the UN and doing the crummy press conference she flew to SF to go do a paid gig for EBay and then went to Marc’s house to get ready for a money dinner for the Clinton Foundation. I was in Marc’s second house behind it and ducked her so we didn’t turn loose another email story by being seen together. She then flew back east the next morning. She will turn 70 her first year in office.”

Leeds replied moments later by revealing that Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), a sitting U.S. Senator, had concerns for Hillary Clinton’s health.

“Sheldon Whitehouse, who is a huge Clinton supporter, said they were both giving speeches at the same event a few months back and she could barely climb the podium steps,” Leeds replied.

I am sure that if Chinese hacker had leaked that Bush himself was torturing prisoners in Gitmo you would have been crying about how we need to ignore this and defend Bush in order not to be Chinese stooges, @AnOminous

Your attempts at removing the spotlight from these leaks using the DNC's very language is just a coincidence. It's not partisan at all.

I've always had a theory that anyone who *wants* to be POTUS automatically isn't fit to have the job. No sane, sensible, well-intentioned person would want such a shitty, stressful, thankless job that automatically makes about 90% of the world's population hate them.

So yeah, I'd vote for Colin Powell.

Dwight Eisenhower, one of our best Presidents, only took the job because most of the Republican party kept badgering him to do it. They hated the idea of Robert Taft running and had been courting Ike for years.

How far we've come, now that the decision is between the most patently corrupt politician to ever stand a chance at winning and an unscrupulous windbag who's just stroking his own ego.

@AnOminous hates the bitch every bit as much as I do. Who said he was even voting for her?

You're being a whiny, partisan baby every bit as bad as the Hillbots for your refusal to recognize that you can hate both Shillary and Drumpf simultaneously without cancelling the hatred out.

This leak is totes legit and not Putin trying to screw up the election for Trump. Full of TRUE AND HONEST content that's not a steaming pile of SVR made-up horse shit. Pinkie-swear!

Is it worrisome that the Russians might have a hand in mucking about with our elections? Yes, yes it is. Anybody can (and probably should) be worried or concerned about that. However, nobody here has said, "nothing to see here." A large number of us on the left are pretty disgusted with our candidate right now. We're also supremely disgusted with the party that claims to represent our political interests. Nobody here has claimed that the leaks are fabricated or otherwise false. We're just a bit concerned that a county we don't have the best relationship with is exerting soft power on our election.

Not to brag, but I've met Hillary face-to-face earlier this year (it happens when you're in an early primary state). Just me eating a burger at the local cafe and she and her entourage walked in, chatting it up with the locals. I told her that I wish her luck but to be warned that the Oval Office isn't a throne room so much as it is a gas chamber, and that the rightards are gonna go after her ten times worse than what they did to her husband.

"not to brag"

I've met your cranky sickly old grandma and I didn't make an 888 about it.

Surprised she actually took the time to talk to you (assuming this is actually real, which I doubt).

In the Secret Service, it's generally considered a punishment to get assigned to her detail. That's how much of a pain in the ass she is to anyone she thinks is below her. Which is basically anyone who isn't that Muslim assistant of hers.

Compared to the tales of JFK using his Kennedy ties to the mob to handle the election process in Chicago, this current stuff is amateur hour.

You mean her gay lover Huma Abedin?

Personally I'm a lot more worried that Obama sold off political positions to people who gave him money and that they rigged their primary than I am by the source of that revelation.

The only reason to brag about meeting Hillary face to face is if you disagreed with her or pleased her and weren't found suicided with 8 bullets in the back a few days later.

No seriously like, the only reason to ever brag about meeting Hillary face-to-face is when you point out you didn't have your reflective shield yet survived her gorgonal stare.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm vehemently angry (like viscerally angry) about that, liberals (progressives, actual liberals and liberaltarians) we all got burned by the silver-tongued con man who said he was going fix everything. Heh guess greed and ambition knows no partisan divide eh?

Oh, I'll admit that the wrinkles on her face reminded me of Palpatine, but she didn't give me the heebie-jeebies like Ted Cruz. Now THAT man is a walking nightmare in broad daylight to behold. I felt an instinctive covering my fly in case he may try to make a sneaky dick-grab from under the table.
