we haven't even hit rock bottom yet. Hillary's campaign has yet to discover LOLcats.
""I can haz cheezburger" is a white supremacist meme used to mock African-American Vernacular English."

When they discover Shrek is Love, Shrek is Life their heads will explode.

Or adopt him as a symbol for normalizing pedophilia.

The Daily Dot interviewed Pepe's creator Matt Furie about the recent fuss over the frog, and his response makes everyone who took this seriously look even dumber.
How do you feel about Pepe's use in so many pro-Trump memes, especially the more racist/xenophobic variations we've seen?
It's just a phase, it's not the first time Pepe has been reclaimed for evil, and no one will care about it come November. I predict that his sly, lovable, and charming status will be intact as early as next week.

Does this go against the spirit of Pepe as you understand it?
Pepe is a character in a comic book. In this book, Boy's Club, he's a cool, chill frog dude that likes to hang with his friends and drink pop and watch TV. He's certainly not racist, as he hangs with a bird-dog, a wolf-like creature, a semi-mutt person, and a dude with round ears that is possibly a muskrat or maybe a bear. These dudes don't even know what they are and it's not important cause they are all different and they are all friends. The online Pepe is just a reflection of things that people think are funny on the internet.

Obviously, there have been offensive Pepes before, but are these different?
It's only different because it's a news story, but there will be another news story tomorrow. No one cares about Bush vs. Gore anymore. Gore is a cool environmentalist now and Bush Jr. a cool druggie artist now. Everything changes. Racist, sexist, and homophobic people need to take mushrooms and go into the forest and look at their reflection in the pond water. We are all connected and we all need each other. One love.

Do you think the alt-right embracing Pepe changes him in some fundamental way or is it just another stage in Pepe's long evolution? And where do you think Pepe can or should go from here?
Pepe is a shape-shifter that will soon save humanity and the whales and the frogs and the bees and bring people together in love and friendship and peace.

Hillary is basically a parody of a campaign at this point while Trump talks paid maternity leave. It's like she and Trump decided they'd do the opposite of what everyone expected.
Scott Adams says this is intentional. The idea was to bring Hillary down to "his level" and then immediately step up and be Presidential while Hillary is spouting Tumblr memes on Twitter.

I personally want to see at the debate something to the effect of: Hillary trash talks Trump (perhaps even his family), followed up by Trump saying "I thought we were here to talk policy?". It would make everyone's head spin.

I hope to see they stumble upon this:

For explanation: This is "Aryanne", a semi obscure meme in the brony community on 4chan. You can guess what the joke is supposed to be.

Who the fuck's the hack who wrote this interview anyway?

This is how we know Clinton and her team don't know anything about 4chan: they don't recognize Pepe and they fall for such obvious bait. They're stuck reacting to Trump's moves at the worse possible time.

This is also why Trump is essentially the only person who could have ran against Clinton this year. Ted Cruz exploded and his campaign fell apart when Trump made a joke about his dad being involved with JFK's assassination, can you imagine him going against the entire media? Hillary's team would be setting the narrative while he'd be busy trying to explain statements he made to explain his statements from 4 months ago. They could say he wants to ban tampons or whatever stupid shit they wanted to and get away with it.

Kinda makes you wonder sometimes that maybe Trump is much more clever than he's given credit for.

We have to remember that the campaigns aren't really managed by the candidates themselves. It's more likely they just hired a few too many idiot college kids in the Clinton campaign without any "adults" to review the garbage they put out, because as we all know, the young, College vote is really where you need the outreach to get people to vote D.

Trump went from being seen as an irrelevant reality TV show figure to leading the national polls after taking down the best GOP field in 50 years and being positioned to take the White House in the span of a year from the most destructive and vindictive political apparatus in the country

You're just catching on to that?

And all it took was Hillary and those around her being complete idiots.

Things have really changed, two weeks ago everyone here was talking about how trump was tanking
This is the greatest reality show ever

Be sure to check the polls often, they go in and out with the tide. A particular forum's atmosphere isn't always 100% in tune with the polls of likely voters.
Trump has gone from 10% to 33% and that's just on 538
