August 7th, 2022. Valerie was assaulted by a fellow resident at the Eastern Idaho Behavioral Health Center.
September 1st, 2022. Police get a report of a suicidal and/or homicidal person with a possible bomb threat. Officer Stephen Wood responds. Labeled “harassment.” No further investigation.
Now let us go back to when “Valerie DuPont Vukelich” (as she’s known now) was attending St Luke’s Episcopal Church!
On November 6, 2022, during the 10:30 service, Valerie was caught on camera attending the baptism of a child.
This was the first time she had been to St Luke’s, and it was her first time attending church in over 10 years.
Valerie introduced herself to Reverend Lea Colvill, at coffee hour they discussed her time in the Air Force and how she was now studying cybersecurity, allegedly in college.
On November 7th, Valerie visited “Puzzles for the Future,” the church’s child education center for preschool aged children. She shared these pictures and was vocal about wanting to volunteer, even purchasing toys to donate, shown below.
She wondered if she could fit in at St. Luke's. She said that “people can be so judgmental”.
People noticed that when she was speaking, she could not maintain eye contact, we know that this is probably because of her autism.
Valerie said that she met a person while she was in the military that she thought might be her future spouse. She said she had felt this way for about a year and went
on to say that the problem was that the person was 15, “almost 16.”
And yes, you read that right.
Valerie walked into a church and confessed to wanting to fuck a 14 year old as a 20 year old.
A couple of days later Valerie made a donation to the turkey box fund via Venmo. Her Venmo handle was “Valerie Sappho.”
A couple of weeks later, Valerie proudly showed a black silicone ring which she said was “a promise ring” in the foyer of the church before service. It was around the 8:00 service on Nov 20.
On Nov 23 2022 8:53 pm a church Administrator was contacted anonymously to say that Valerie was a dangerous person. She paid little attention because this person was a stranger and called after hours. This occurred twice more. The staff person did not mention it.
On Dec 19, 2022 at 9:45 am, the church was contacted by “Duncan MacDougal” of Kiwi Farms. After this, the police were called.
On December 30th, she was “SWATted”
Officer Spencer Wood arrived at the church on January 3rd, 2023, and collected Reverend Lea’s written report.
On January 6th, Detective Mendenhall was assigned to follow up on the case, and made note of Sappho being “a name of interest to several agencies”
