The question "what is a woman?" isn't a test of your knowledge, or your philosophical acumen. It's a test of honesty, you know what a woman is, we are just checking to see if you are willing to pretend that you don't.
There's a reliable enough definition for what a human is.
We define species based on reproductive capacity. Two healthy individuals are considered to be of the same species if they can produce viable offspring that can themselves go on to reproduce.
You can have different breeds of dogs, but all dogs are the same species, canis familiaris, because even dogs of different breeds can reproduce.
Horses and donkeys can reproduce. A horse and a donkey can produce mules. But mules themselves are sterile, thus horses and donkeys are different species.
So to define human, we just decide on a base selection of mammals that we want to identify as humans, and the set of mammals outside of that group that are also human are the ones that can reproduce with the original set.
Troons could argue that this definition is circular. This is a common criticism of their answer to "what is a woman", they'll often say "well, anyone who identifies as one". That's also a circular definition.
But sometimes (but not all the time) there's utility in circular definitions. Species identification is useful because reproduction is important. But there's no utility in someone "identifying" as a woman, other than demonstrating they're into dumb, sexist stereotypes.
This is the thing, even if we let troons take over the word "woman", the old definition of "adult human female" is still a useful concept to be able to identify.
In a modern western democracy, sex doesn't really matter much. If a woman wants to be a roofer or a man wants to be a nurse, that's generally OK if they're capable of doing the job.
But there's still some situations where sex does matter in society. As a male, I'll never worry about getting pregnant. I'm also stronger and faster, on average, than a female. I'm not as vulnerable in intimate spaces like bathrooms, locker rooms and prisons.
Thus even if we let the troons take over the word "woman", society will still see value in labeling "adult human females", and we'll just invent a new word for that, pissing the troons off again and starting the whole thing up again.
