When Pat does get to "meet" his daughter, it's going to be hilarious. First of all, it's going to be over the phone. At around her mid twenties, after like a physical or something, a doctor will recommend that she find out about his health history. So that is what the call will be about.
Pat, like a lot of deadbeats, will have created a fantasy that when the adult kid contacts them, finally their side can be heard and all will be forgiven. Once he figures out she doesn't want to hear it, he is going to start shit talking her mother and the father she lost that raised her.
This will go REAL well and the phone call will end quick, with his daughter not getting the medical info she needs but at least a stronger resolve to never talk to Pat again.
It's so weird how Hollywood and TV have created this bullshit fantasy that estranged kids want to reunite with their deadbeat parent or teenage mom that put them up for adoption.
Lol most of us just move on.
