Now this one's not recent at all, but I think I should talk about a little internet thing: I'm autistically in love with fighting game movesets for characters that don't have it, or at least hypothetical ones. A while ago, I ran into this rather high-quality (if rough in places) one named Blight Bastions which, well went on indefinite hiatus, but I thought it was nice to see. It was also rather neutral and fun-having....until I got to the Gilderoy Lockhart set, where the first thing I saw was this image:

An severe case of RDS I see, where apparantly in universe, the "Black Hole" (plot device in this idea game) decided to destroy this universe because...IDK, the Black Hole is the author I guess? The rest of the page is filled with what you expect from one of these types. Think the author is a tranny, tho.

Bad Writing Takes shows they deeply care about rapists by commenting on the court case where pronouns are mandated for troons. Apparently a judge corrected JKR, she doubled down, and troons raged that she was misrepresenting victims.

Troons care so deeply about rapists they'll demand you call them "she" even as they rape you, and fervently deny they even associate with sex pests, like Colin Montgomerie does with Mitchell Slater/CursedE.

Bad Writing Takes, notably, mentions no other authors, not even Andrea Long Chu.

This is great (by which I mean horrifying). The first tweets partake in some top-notch truth elision (by which I mean bullshitting). If you just read them in isolation, it sounds like the whole story of rape is false, that there was no MTF raping someone. But that isn't the case. They've just clung onto one aspect of her complaint which turns out to (possibly) be false, but to anyone not looking too closely, it sounds like they're confidently stating that there was no transrapist.

The truth is, JKR sperged out about a rape victim potentially being forced to address their (alleged lol) attacker using feminine pronouns. I'm sure we all realize that that would be bad if true, but it's not the big issue. The big issue is the actual event of the rape.

But that's not how it reads. If you know the context, these tweets can be read to say "LOL no, TERF. Transwomen might be out there raping women, but no one is forcing the victims to use the right pronouns! These notions of a trans menace are so ridiculous." But I guarantee most people just breeze over it and walk away thinking yup, JKR is telling more lies about fake trans rapists.

Maybe I am wrong but isn’t it the case that “transwomen” have proportionally more convicted rapists among their number than any other selected group of men?

E.g. for sake of argument, out of 100 transwomen and 10,000 amateur boxers, 12 of the transwomen have rape convictions and 80 of the boxers do?

We can't even reliably define a transwoman, never mind find the exact number of TiMs, and then the exact number of convicted TiM rapists to find the proportion.

However, we have consistently found that in prison populations where trans status can be officially invoked for special privileges a massively disproportionate number of convicted rapists are trans. Of course, this is far from definitive, but the difference is so significant that it's hard to explain it all away by saying that they're lying.

Further wild unscientific speculation here, I could believe that these rapists are not lying on a massive level.

I don’t think it would be impossible for untreated gender dysphoria to lead some men to rape women.

I don’t mean every rapist should get the option to troon out.
Just that something like believing you were born in the wrong body to such an extent could contribute to a violent attempt to force oneself into a woman’s body.

I'm not sure if sex predators who troon out after going to prison should count, but hey, troons insist on this self-ID bullshit, so if it has at least some impact on their sky-high rape rate, which makes "despite being only 13% of the population. . ." look like nothing, they're stuck with them.

I agree that rapists who troon out after raping should count as trans rapists, but that's because I think that being a tranny is a result of trauma, mental illness, and or social conditioning. The dominant paradigm around trannies that all policy and MSM reporting is based around is that TiMs are women "accidentally" born in a male body, so even if they troon out 20 years after they last rape, they were a tranny the whole time.

After all, they change their pronouns to reflect their newfound gender identity in their Wikipedia articles

On reflection I take back my earlier statement about rapists being given the option to troon out.

It should be mandatory instead. A way of imposing chemical castration on them without it being considered a violent corporal punishment.

Just hecking valid affirmative action.

If it happens to enough rapists, degenerates and pedophiles, then normal people will be right in assuming any post op troon is a criminal sex pervert.

Remove all non-essential organs and their digestive system so they can be fed through a port and turn them into something like the Stalkers in Half-Life 2.

I think that other poster is getting his story mixed up. Rowling originally published the Harry Potter books under her first initials (J.K. Rowling instead of Joanne Rowling) because she didn't want boys to be averse to reading her books and she thought they might be if the books had a woman's name on the cover. This was before she was famous. Whether that decision contributed to the success of the Harry Potter books is a matter of speculation. Later she published the Strike books under a pen name ("Robert Galbraith") because she wanted a clear delineation between the two book series. She wasn't ever really hiding that she was the actual author of the Strike books, as far as I know; I assume she just wanted it to be clear that they were not kids' books (so no one ends up giving their 8-year-old niece a murder mystery full of gruesome crime scenes and middle-aged sexual frustration because "it's by that Harry Potter lady"). Lots of writers publish under multiple names. Mary Ann Evans, for example, used the pen name "George Eliot" for her novels and had her non-fiction writings published under her own name.

I hate the fact we even have to get all intellectual about it. That’s such a reddit thing to do, which we‘re now doing on a society wide scale, overanalysing problems with simple working solutions.
Just hang them all.
