An anime can an have an episode titled "Total massacre and carnage" and it won't be as much signal that shit is coming down compared to a single positive word title.

I just watched the finale of Attack on Titan. And... I honestly don't get the hate. Did they change a lot? It seems the Titan curse actually went away. The only I found annoying was some of the more melodramatic music playing over otherwise great scenes towards the end. But overall I thought it was pretty damn good.
They got rid of Eren in bird form angrily pecking as Jean gives Mikasa triplets for like five pages.

My Wife Has No Emotion/Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjou ga Nai is pretty much at the top of my list of manga that I hope will get an anime adaptation.

A lot of people started hating it once the focus of the manga started shifting away from just being about Takuma and Mina and especially once the robotics research club characters became secondary protagonists.

The "thank you for turning yourself into a mass murderer for our sake" line was also changed into something less cringy, I think.

Been reading a lot of Seinen Isekai lately. I know Isekai has really over saturated the manga/anime market the last few years. But I've been really on a kick of finding one's that do unexpected things. It's hard since there's so much middle of the road schlock but when I find decent stuff I can get a good night of reading in.

I'm just starved for some good anime discussion videos, but after getting burned one too many times, you end up cautious whenever something new pops up.
Understandable. But I said it before and I'll say it once again: EVERY AnimeTuber is a lolcow, a shill or both. No exceptions, end of discussion, finito! ThatAnimeSlob is the one-eyed among the blind, to give you an idea how bad things are.

Also for mangafags of frieren I have some bad news:

A demon puts Himmel into an illusion of things that will never happen. :(

In other words:
Kill demons. Behead demons. Roundhouse kick a demon into the concrete. Slam dunk a demon baby into the trashcan. Crucify filthy articulate monsters. Defecate in a demons food. Launch demons into the sun. Stir fry demons in a wok. Toss demons into active volcanoes. Urinate into a demons gas tank. Judo throw demons into a wood chipper. Twist demons heads off. Report demons to the IRS. Karate chop demons in half. Curb stomp pregnant demons. Trap demons in quicksand. Crush demons in the trash compactor. Liquefy demons in a vat of acid. Eat demons. Dissect demons. Exterminate demons in the gas chamber. Stomp demon skulls with steel toed boots. Cremate demons in the oven. Lobotomize demons. Mandatory abortions for demons. Grind demon fetuses in the garbage disposal. Drown demons in fried chicken grease. Vaporize demons with a ray gun. Kick old demons down the stairs. Feed demons to alligators. Slice demons with a katana.
TOTAL DEMON ANNIHILATION.

That's going to be no from me. I don't like the goofy ass CGI, Hiei and Kuwabara don't work for me as well. It seems to be pointless to adapt a small portion of a story with parts still cut out from it.
Despite how much time has passed, they've never learned Haruhi's core lesson, moe does not work in real life. Just replace "moe" with anime in general, same principle.

The Silmarillion has some incredible ones, but I get your point. I like how demons are actually treated as demonic in Frieren. It seems like since the DxD days most of "demonkind" has been made into fetish objects or tragic victims. Frieren shows you how evil demons can truly be, by manipulating human emotions with speech. How the demons think words have magic powers because they can make humans do what they want with them.

Decades of edgy atheists, porn and quirky evil characters have defanged demons, to the point you outright expect angels to eventually appear and be the greater evil.
