I get Creame since she's friends with Amy and was in the 2nd GBA game with the O.G. 4, , but why Rogue?
Sonic Prime has completely killed the previously established characterisation of her, this only confirms it's final. Probably a push by SEGA to try and appeal to women by having a near 50/50 gender split of the new main cast.

I guess owning a MacBook was worth it all along…
But in all seriousness, why go with this route? I mean I’m not complaining about a new 3D Sonic but iPhones are capable of running games like RE:M4KE, why couldn’t we get a port of Frontiers to iOS?
Also, who’s fucking signing off on these Sonic renders? These look like shit. I’m not exactly sure what’s off about it but it looks extremely cheap, maybe it’s the eye placement or the proportions or how fucking weird his smile is but this can’t be the best they can do.

played a bit of shadow the hedgehog. the controls are a bit stiffed and it feels shadow is skating on ice. other then that, its still a decent game. some of the mission objectives and boss battles really bring the game down.
Certain guns kind of breaks the game. But what's truly retarded is that you can easily deal an lot more damage with the infinite ammo boon than just unleashing Chaos Blast 2 or three times.

You're forgetting this is the same Sega that greenlit Hyenas, then promptly cancelled it and hope to salvage some funding by selling it to Tencent.

The entire game is kino, but ironically enough the gameplay itself is the weakest part. The game BADLY needs a remake or a sequel so it can be polished up, I think there is something worthwhile worth salvaging here.

The route system is genuinely great, but unfortunately having to play the game ten times just to finish it kind of tarnishes the novelty a bit.

The biggest problem imo with StH is that the missions you have to do are mostly pretty boring, the levels are ok for the most part, and the controls you can get used to, but the way to unlock levels being those different missions is what kills it for me.

Replaying an game 10 times is kind of doable if you can stop reusing 3 bosses. It stops being plausible when the GUN Commander pops up inside the Black Comet with little fanfare, or Eggman showing up inside the ARK and the comet because the devs ran out of ideas.

I think it would be less of an complaint if the enemies actively fought back instead of idly shooting at each other.

This is literally the same thing I'm reacting to Warped Kart Racers. The game would've been better in other platforms aside from being a shitty Apple exclusive. It would've been suited as something for other platforms such as Steam. But we can't live in that world.

This is the same SEGA that gimped Sonic Boom and produced Lost World in pursuit of money from Nintendo, at this point it shouldn't be a surprise.
And this was because Sega was striking a contracted deal with Nintendo, and of course that turned out fugly. The development of Sonic Boom was just one of the worst to come out from Sega, but it's funny because the actual cartoon show that game was based on was good. A far cry from the actual game itself

Sonic bros we can not stop loosing!
Aside from Mania, I think Generations is the last mainline Sonic I actually liked. Lost World was okay, Boom was terrible (didn’t play the 3DS Booms), Forces was disappointing, Frontiers was boring from what little I played, Origins was a worse version of the fan ports, and Superstars is mediocre. I’m starting to think the Sonic Cycle was real all along.
