And for fucks sake, I could not find a decent cup of coffee throughout the length and breadth of England during my time there, despite the insane amount of French and Polacks and Turks who run the restaurant service industry there and presumably know how to brew coffee far better than the goddammed Anglo-Saxons.

I also blame the laziness of Americans that has been exacerbated by the advent of Door Dash and other food-delivery services, some of which claim to have 'fresh ingredients' delivered right to your door. This takes away even further the need to make informed choices, to cut corners. In my opinion, the Post-Industrial Service-Based Economy has been a tremendous blow to American's self-worth.

I actually like this thread. It's genius enough to bring me out of dormancy, I find the poor diets of Americans are critical to their lowered I.Q.s and general stupidity and an existential threat.

Most likely King Louis the Buttfucker decreed peppers were heretical in 1598 due to ringsting so nobody grows them.

Thanks to the mild American climate I can grow tomatoes, peppers, basil, cilantro and a host of other herbs and spices every year on my deck and if I want I can put a garden in my backyard for even more produce. To think Europoors try to dunk on us with our McMansions, as if owning a comfortable and spacious home on plenty of land is a bad thing.

Enjoy your miserable commieblocks and shitty old houses built when the Protestant Reformation was a novel idea.

I love how every single cuisine brought to the United States by immigrants is made better than the original, period.

Still the point is made. With all the foreigners in Londonstan you'd think you could find decent coffee there. No, you cannot. The countryside is worse, as they are Englanders wo aren't coffee-drinkers and are mired in the cult of 'cuppa tea, cuppa tea'.

One of the best things about that herb is you can save the seeds once it flowers to harvest some coriander, a True and Honest European Seasoning.

I will say one thing the Euros got right is mayonnaise with fries. Just takes them to another level compared to ketchup.

I don't even know what it is, it just made me laugh when earlier in this thread someone bragged about eating swiss cheese with miracle whip on rye bread.

And I will say one thing the Brits do right is malt-vinegar on fries. Truly a patrician condiment.

Thankfully midwest chads also get to enjoy delicious fish fries in this region. Perch, walleye, haddock, bluegill, you name it and some dive bar is battering it up and serving it with french fries and rye bread.
