This is really funny if you know the show. The character is called Bill Cipher, he is a conniving, manipulative dream demon that enjoys the suffering of others. He is the main antagonist of the series and unlike someone like White Diamond in Steven Universe(that show is a big favorite among the people of gender), Bill is never redeemed, he is a malevolent psychopath till the end. An interesting little tidbit is that Bill is able see through the eyes of any picture depicting him.

Is this the tattoo equivalent of a Freudian slip? Leftie types somehow always manage to gravitate to the nearest representation of pure evil and take it as their mascot.

Considering the next tattoo is Bill Cipher, a character from Gravity Falls, it's most likely a six-fingered hand, however poorly executed. It's a plot point that appears throughout the series, and gets solved near the end of the the second and final season.

To be completely fair to the district, they weren't really special ed teachers and they weren't employed by the county. They were basically temps who were signed on to a staffing agency that supplied substitutes on short notice to the district. School are hurting badly for subs right now so agencies will hire anyone with a pulse. The district says they haven't used this staffing agency for some time, either.

Very funny that at the end of the day they're just a heterosexual couple.

Nah, you give them too much depth. Trans is classic OCD, or else general fetishism, depends if it's in the AGP/fujoshi vein, or the gender-obsessed vein. These would make up the fetishists and the "truly mentally ill". That still leaves the rest, a huge percentage of people that are merely autistic retards latching on to the new trend now that atheism and Communism aren't cool anymore.

Well, no, it's technically a lesbian couple of two heterosexual women that have somehow decided life would be better off they both looked absolutely subhuman.

Since the "husband" claims to be disabled, technically the real crime here is that the 'wife' is pimping out her disabled spouse while being a special-ed teacher.

If it were two MtFs, it would be a lot worse.

She doesn't have an identity because when she was a child her name was different. He paternal grandmother loved the name Fumiko however her mother and father decided to go with Mari. But when Mari was born her father switched to her grandmother's side and she was named Fumiko. After her grandmother died, her mother made Mari call herself Mari. She's been living the live of others expectations (Mari) and not her actual self (Fumiko)

So she she's the NEET and thinks "wow, it'll be good to live such a carefree life with no expectations" so she starts stalking him and wants to literally be him. She learns who he is, breaks into his home, does everything she can to transform into him. But that is unrealistic. So her mind rationalizes it as "I was actually the NEET all along, and suddenly I'm in Mari's body". The she as the NEET wants to find out where Mari is, but Mari is still her, but she has to come to terms with the existence Fumiko in order to live her life.

It's a tale about a girl cracking from pressures so hard that she has a mental break that makes her think she's a NEET to escape.

The thing is, the author is definitely a dysphoric dude, very AGP, with a lot of self-loathing and other various mental issues (his work is always depressing and twisted, you can gather he probably was badly abused as a child psychologically). He wrote openly about his desire to be female, to have a doll-like female body, how it's an arousing thought for him, creepy stuff like that. But also about how it's a dead end because ...he is male. The usual suspects online are calling him female pronouns, saying he is a repressed trans woman, stuff like that.

So he definitly wrote Inside Mari by projecting his own desire. That's why it's full of disgusting sexual shit.
He found a excuse to write dozens of chapters from the perspective of a low-status adult man who's consciousness is transported in a teenage girl he previously observed (basically, his fantasy), and ended the story with a twist where all along it was the female teenager who wanted to be the neet man, it was her who watched him, stalked him, envied him... offloading his guilt to the female character.
