Wonder if the documentary will cover the molested TIFs, the neglected animals, the complete absence of spay and neuter intervention, the culls, the squandered charity, or the disastrous ending? More likely it‘ll be a very, very carefully curated series of the least horrifying and hilarious moments. Still willing to check it out, mind, but the chance of it being even slightly accurate is low.

The film stars bonnie who has very publicly posted the ranch's demise on twitter I believe. And even the wikipedia states it is dead / they got evicted. My guess is the director got some ESG soy money to make this movie and then couldn't back out while the ranched collapsed during post production so they just have to pretend it's still a thing.

It will never stop bothering me that they just dump the hay on the ground. How hard is it to buy or make a feeder? He didn't even take off a couple of flakes, he just dumped the whole bale on the ground. He even tells one of the animals that he'll come back later with scissors (to cut the twine).

Beyond the fence, you can see that there is scrubby plant growth around there. I know they're in a dry area, so it isn't reasonable to expect lush pasture if they don't irrigate. But beyond the fenceline, you can see that there's plant life. Inside the enclosure, you can see twigs and stems from whatever used to grow there that the animals have shredded. The only living plant in the enclosure is something that looks like yucca, something the animals won't eat.

They're so fucking incompetent, it makes me SEETHE.

If anyone's keeping a tally on the animals, add 1-2 to it because that's one pregnant goat. And goats are prone to having twins.

I still think those are goat wounds on the alpacas, because goats will butt each other, and the alpacas have to bend all the way to the fucking ground to eat the hay on the damn martian landscape there. And they haven't de-buddded their goats, or done anything to minimize the injuries the goats can cause. I know this implies they do things, but still.

Have they always had that many ducks? I don't remember any mention of ducks. I always love the "evil laugh" ducks have.

-Phil claims that the Tranch has "almost 200" Alpaca at the time of filming as well as 40 Sheep and an undisclosed amount of ducks and chickens
-Phil prominently holds an Alpaca in his arms with seemingly no effort, Google says that Full grown Alpaca weigh 100-200lbs, but this is a malnourished Tranch Alpaca so who knows, still though, very ladylike strength.
-Kevin is sighted, actually outside fucking with a hose and spraying Alpaca, looks like he is enjoying himself
-Another Alpaca name is revealed to be "Mocha (Moca?)"
