Considering next friday is the 26th of the month your really really right, if you get paid monthly your average paydate is the 28th of the month and if that day is saturday or sunday it's the closest Friday to that.

However if your in the UK and you have a smart boss your payday is on the 15th of the month as that's the ONLY DAY your not going to get fucked over by weekends Friday BACS or bank holidays.
