The Japanese have a problem with sick fucks taking advantage of the overcrowded trains to dry hump women trapped next to them. The packed together nature of the trains and Japan's culture of not making a scene meant that anyone who saw it would ignore it instead of beating the shit out of the dry humper and the women would often put up with it in an uncomfortable silence.
It got so bad they even had a word for it I can't recall atm, and they started segregating the carriages to have women only carriages to prevent it.
This sort of shit should be an immediate beat down and if the evidence is recorded like here the groper should have no legal recourse, they brought it on themselves.
Dude should have gone for a finger stomp, this AGP freak will be on the next bus doing the same thing, a couple broken fingers would have maybe made him think twice next time.

I don't know how large the problem actually is. Maybe their tolerance of such behaviour is really low and they take it very seriously. On the other end of the spectrum you have shitholes in africa. In South africa 1 in 4 men admit to rape and nothing really is done about it. Imagine how many more are lying. Getting raped is as common as someone doing creepy shit over there.

Definitely lots of Japanese men do perverted and creepy shit if they think they can get away with it, aside from the gropers you have the issue of guys trying to take upskirt photos, especially of school girls since they usually wear skirts with their uniforms. That's why the shutter sound on cellphones could not be disabled on Japanese cellphone models (not sure if it's still the case with smartphones...)

I feel people really underestimate or forget how many shithole places exist in the world and that they should be glad to live in a western, first-world country.
