The danger of using identity politics as your entire existence. Lesbians were cool when she was at college, then trannies superseded that. “Coming out as gay” is hilarious in that she’s admitting to being a heterosexual woman all along and it was all larping. Poor partner!

I’ve seen this sexuality shift too often in FTM troons for it to be a “I just want to be special” thing. As we know, testosterone makes FTMs’ sex drive spike and I believe it does have much deeper effects than previously thought. Idk might just sound like cope but I had this happen to me; we weren’t in a relationship yet (two women) but had considered it, then this lady goes FTM and starts HRT and tells me she is now exclusively attracted to men. Dodged a bullet there, I guess. But yeah, it happens a lot.

Usual trigger warnings and discussion of "offensive" topics everywhere (although some like pedophilia, definitely warranted), but the section that ticked me off the most was during Dirty Love when he was saying "Just girly things!"
Dirty Love is a gross-out comedy written for women by a man. He was criticizing the humor for not being relatable to women, but what authority on women does he have?

Fun fact: "Thou" is actually the casual pronoun.
That's why you say things like "Your majesty" and "Your honor".
"Thy" is second-person-familiar, so to demand its use by others would be a creepy and invasive thing to do.
So I can see people doing that under the right conditions, honestly.

Word, yeah; English only has remnants of the T-V distinction, but it survives in many other languages.

I was wondering if e.g. a teenage Spanish girl would get bullied by a clique of other teenage girls using the formal with her or something. And related, if a troon or a cluster B trainwreck would obsess online for days about which second-person pronouns or honorifics the grocery clerk used with them, in a language with a much greater capacity for it.
