All discussion of the candidates, updates and results should go here

For example- here's a video of Ted Cruz vying for world domination.

Also Hilary Clinton is a crook and nobody should have sex with her.

Discuss

(Note- The title will change as we get nearer the election, previous titles will be archived in the OP)

I think even I have to now admit it's really not looking good for Trump. New poll showed him plummeting in key swing states. Time's running out to pull a big save, or perhaps a prideful nationalist message really doesn't just have appeal anymore.

He was on a big high, but it's obvious it's wearing off.

Listen, the one thing that Dems should not do right now is be complacent, polls are an indication of what is likely to happen. If the Dems don't show up to vote because theyreoverly confident then Trump has a higher chance of being elected.

However at the moment as it stands Trump has a 13.6% chance of being elected, with several states such as Georgia, South Carolina, Missouri, Arizona and North Carolina becoming states that can go to either candidate at this point. It's effecting the GOP's chances in the House and Senate as well.

You guys are obviously working with the Leftist media machine to put a good honest man like Donald Trump down.

For real though, less then 15% is pretty awful. That's Kasich levels.

Does anyone else feel like trying to shore up Evangelical support with Pence was definitely the wrong move?

Or it has less to do with nationalism and more to do with him going full r'tard for two weeks straight. Maybe people are turning against Trump because he is making an ass out of himself, and he just can't help it, and he has failed to adapt an actual ad campaign and goes to state that are strongholds or have little value to the EC. I had my doubts when he pissed away his weeks of free time while Clinton and Sanders fought it out.

Or maybe anyone that doesn't vote for Trump isn't a True and Honest Patriot™

No, its because Donald Trump is a despicable idiot. He fucking trots around America taking advantage of everyone's misery and pain while chatting shit at every opportunity. Like his Obama founded ISIS comments OR his suggestion of using 2nd amendment remedies to 'fix' a Hillary presidency OR saying a state must ABSOLUTELY be rigged if his ticket loses it.

r/the_donald can do all the mental cartwheels they please, none of those things donald spoke were true or appropriate. The later claim makes him look like a salty cuck who's hedging a loss months before it happens.

Donald trump is such an incompetent opponent that Hillary 'Nixon 2.0' Clinton could landslide him if these polls are accurate.

The worst part about this is that the current political and social climates helped to create Trump. If this were even five years ago, he would've been laughed out of the election process before the primaries even began. But desperate times and a complete distrust of the current systems created a goddamn whirlwind.

The only reason why this isn't even more of a landslide right now is because of his opponent.

And could take the Senate with him, or atleast make the races way harder. This isn't just a dumpster fire, its could become a literal House fire. And the blame can only rest on Trump's neglegence and lack of discipline, and his handlers and staff for turning into yes men. Even openly considering not attending a one on one with Clinton by acting like a child is close to suicdeal by its' own merits.
I still haven't seen any TV ads paid for by the Trump Campaign, and I live in the purplest part of a swingstate key to his stratagy. If this is an accurite audit, a fucking GREEN PARTY candidate is spending more in ads.
While he dicks around in the blue stronghold Conneticut, Clinton and Biden rallied in Scranton, PA (the sixth largest city in the Commonwealth). And we haven't even gotten to his poll observers, one fuck up, one accusation of voter intimidation, and the GOP will get fucked .

Trends would agree

It appears we may have taken this jipe too far.

Oh, and it looks like Rudy forgot all about 9/11...even RT isn't going to spin this shit it seems.
Prepare yourselfs for a fresh barrage of foot-in-mouth my brothers!

Its worse in context, because he appears to blame the Clinton and Obama administrations that the Bush years nestled between.
How the fuck is it even humanly possible for the fucking MAYOR OF NEW YORK to forget fucking 9/11? AKA the worst and most prolific terrorist attack in US history? Y'know...in the town you were mayor of.

Like I can imagine Trump saying that kind of dumb shit since he's Trump, but Giuliani is like an actual politician. Like with a reputation and shit.

It doesn't help he previously jerked himself off about being mayor of New York during 9/11, Christie did the same thing. And even if we excuse that, they're still wrong, Beltway Shooters were a year later.

Donors are pretty much harassing officials at the national party, demanding that they cut off Trump and spend on the Senate and, to a lesser extent, the House instead. North Carolina's Senate race is starting to look like a repeat of 2008, and even Georgia is closer than I am comfortable with. Arizona, Indiana, and Missouri are being pulled to the left as well.

In all fairness, he didn't really have any good moves. No one wanted to run with him. His final three were Pence, Gingrich, and Christie; those were the best he could do. A lot of people seem to think that accepting the VP nod was a way for Pence to bow out of losing reelection in Indiana.

Apparently Trump just appointed the chairman of Breitbart to head up his campaign, while effectively demoting the guy already doing the job. This is just getting to beyond parody levels now.

Buckle up. This is gonna be one hell of a ride folks.

In all seriousness though, it's obvious why Trump did this. Other than controversy surrounding Manafort, Trump wants somebody who won't question his insane behavior. By all accounts he doesn't give a shit what his advisers tell him and he resents them trying to get him under control. Manafort was pushed on him by the RNC precisely because they thought he could get Trump to pivot to the center enough to, at the very least, not lose in a historic landslide. With him demoted Trump is basically free to be Trump. And with freaking Steve Bannon, of all people, managing his campaign the man is about to go completely off the rails and his campaign is going to implode in the most hilariously visible way ever.
