He said "additional lawyer" in his written statement on the GFM page. I presume that means "in addition to Schneider" and not "in lieu of Schneider."
My guess is Schneider doesn't feel confident defending Judge Fischer's decision before the appeals court and wants to call in reinforcements. That's not altogether uncommon. Maybe he's never played defense on an appeal before. I dunno. There's a lot we really don't know about Schneider.

Generally you don't want to give the other side an advantage by filing any sooner than necessary. Ty's problem wasn't waiting until the deadline, but waiting until the literal last minute, and talking mad shit on YouTube with Nick while the document he was filing was still a jumbled piece of shit that even looked unprofessional, even without the Tylophone notary fuckup.

Another way of putting it is that you can wait till the last minute to file it, but don't wait till the last fucking minute to write it. I think that was one of Ty's major problems. You'll never convince me that whole thing wasn't a last minute rush job. Too much time on Youtube acting the badass, and not enough time doing actual work.

There are massive campaigns for MAP approval. Hell, the fact that MAP is even a common term is a giant red flag that we need a bit more "yelling". Perhaps your take against "screeching" will only lead to more normalization of the abuse of children and your take is absolutely retarded.

However, this projection is obviously way too optimistic: donations to Monty have already slowed down to a crawl.

This is confusing. The general expectation is that people will hate pedophiles by default because of the harm they inflict on our most vulnerable. Virtue signaling something that we expect everyone else to agree with anyways is wasted energy. People aren't expressing their contempt and hate for pedophiles to signal for one another that we hate pedophiles, but because they're so deplorable that the gut reaction is to bemoan their evils.
It's always a red flag to me when people don't grasp this and instead SMUGLY direct the conversation towards "you hate pedophiles? Hm, perhaps you yourself are the pedophile?" That's not how it works. You should be able to better empathize with people who detest pedophiles.

For clarity, I wasn't referring to getting Elissa's clip pulled. It was Mandy who reached out to Nick about Elissa, but there was evidence that he also got an earful from Kayla. For example, in the 2nd round of Perception Chek leaks you provided, Nick said "It probably hurt Mandy, who didn't deserve it, and it definitely was really shitty for my wife."
Likely that neither were happy about what Nick said publicly. Mandy messaged Nick on stream to tell him to stop and later contacted him about Elissa's clip, and then Nick chose to say that Kayla was most affected rather than go down the usual routes of saying she's cool with it, saying his wife knew he was "joking", or simply downplaying Kayla's reaction as no big deal because their marriage is so strong.
This is in addition to Kayla not being passive in Nick's decline (lewds and bottle-butt pic that she posted first) and penchant for seemingly trying to embarrass her husband Nick (aka her little gaywad) with strange stories and open flirting with others on/off stream. Kayla has agency. Unfortunately for her, she's also a promiscuous moron and neither her insecurities nor being a mother of five has changed that.
