If I have any complaints, they swapped the A and B buttons compared to Xbox.
Nintendo didn't change shit. Their configuration is the modern original.

Sony and Microsoft are the ones that just had to use a different controller setup. In fact Nintendo controllers have gotten worse to be more like inferior hardware. Nintendo ditched superior octagonal restrictor gates in exchange for tge shitty circular ones that Sony and Microsoft use.

I might do up additional controllers, I like my Zelda controllers too much to mod them too much. Also yeah its metal. The stand is cool to the touch when u fold it out.
Since you love your Zelda controllers, never send them into Nintendo. They currently have their program for free joycon repairs after all that backlash, but while they will repair it and send it back, they wont send back your own exact controller, so you will probably want to the previously mentioned advice of getting the Hall Effect joycon stick replacements, especially since they are very easy to open up.

Super Robot Wars T. SRW is a long running strategy RPG that stars characters from multiple mecha franchises in big, nonsensical crossover stories.

The series is typically Japan only for licensing reasons, but T got a region free English version that you can import off of Play Asia.

All of the modern SRW games are available to import in English - OG, X, V, T and 30.

Unfortunately OG is PS4 only it appears. (I'm only missing T)

Informative. If I have base controllers I don't care about, might use that program, but I can upgrade the sticks and rails on the Zelda Joycons in the future so I don't lose them. Also got the 512 gig Samsung SD yesterday. Ready to load up every VN under the sun next paycheck lol.

Out of nowhere, the first Red Dead Redemption is coming to Switch and PS4.
By extension, the Switch version will probably be the new best way to play RDR1 on PC.

This is out of left fucking field i am surprised this is coming out on switch ( esp given how much of a nightmare the games code is ).

Can someone who plays goyslop please explain why people are so mad at this and mass downvoting all the trailers? I thought people wanted RDR1 again?
From the comments I've seen, seems like it's some combination of:
  • Why just a port? I want a remaster!
  • Why port to the Switch? I want a full remake on modern hardware!
  • Why RDR1? I want RDR3!
  • $50 for a port? Fuck you!

So angry manchildren sneeding about PS5 having no games essentially? That's what I got from the comments. I thought we had moved away from 'le graphics'

If I have any complaints, they swapped the A and B buttons compared to Xbox. A bit annoying, but I'm adapting.
Japanese Playstation used to follow the same layout (O to accept and X to cancel, which also made sense on a cultural level, while it was the reverse in the West).
I had the same confusing experience on the Steam Deck with the A button being on the bottom and the Y on the top, took me a few hours to flex my memory muscles.

Also got the 512 gig Samsung SD yesterday. Ready to load up every VN under the sun next paycheck lol.
Unless you're going after nippon exclusives, you'll be more than fine with a 512GB card.

Probably because it's not getting a PC port or wasn't a remake like it's been speculated, according to the comments.
As long as the port runs decently on the Switch, and doesn't have any cut content deemed "inappropriate for modern times", I don't see any problem. I may even consider getting it later.

lolwut?

That's all new games do these days is boast about how perddy the graphics are in their games. You either have old games that get a new lighting engine slapped onto them that makes everything dark/uglier with a widescreen aspect ratio (because I guess 4:3 makes people cry and shit their pants), or you have devs go for that "realism" shit that makes every model have that uncanny valley look

Why just a port? I want a remaster!
ok fair enough the game is 13 years old now (fucking kill me how even)
but at least you're getting the game at all
Why port to the Switch? I want a full remake on modern hardware!
equally fair, but what would a remake even do? bring the texture of horse testicles up to par with its sequel? The game is good enough as is from what little i've played, all it could really use is maybe a slight graphical update (stuff like hair has progressed a lot since 2010, (but not much else has), and 2010 is still hardcore piss filter era so removing that would be nice)
Why RDR1? I want RDR3!
stupid whiny baby false equivalence that's nowhere near as reasonable as the other questions
$50 for a port? Fuck you!
lmao this one's reasonable
imagine paying $50 for a 13 year old game, unchanged from its original state, just for the sake of maybe portability
