this animation encapsulates everything wrong with modern medieval settings in a nutshell

>constant spouting of contemporary dialogue no matter the context
>diverse and period-inappropriate cast which is mostly human despite having a world with a fuck ton of interesting and alien races to consider
>any traditionally fantasy plotlines, especially involving princesses or dragons, always done with "irony" aka nothing takes itself seriously and is embarrassed to be fantasy at all
>massive tone issues in general
 
How long is this going to last for? It feels like torture
 
That was an alright trailer, but it told me nothing about the game and didn't look interesting enough for me to care regardless of that...
