Now that there's more Gash 2 I went back to reading it. It's kino boys, it's good and doing interesting things. Raiku is making some pretty okay explanations to nerf the characters and keep the action interesting.
It's crazy how big things got by the end. These demon kids were pretty much doing Summons out of Final Fantasy and having god-like beings fighting it out.

Fate/Type Redline honestly is probably up there as my favorite Fate spinoff, absolutely love this panel. Honestly this may not be the best panel to shill this manga but I'd absolutely recommend it, since it is a very interesting take on a holy grail war and has a pretty strong cast of characters.

As for other stuff I've been keeping up on

MHA (manga) is still going on a downward spiral and is basically continuing to invalidate arcs that came before it (especially the All Might vs AFO arc)

Jojolands is a great read and I really enjoyed the spin-off Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak.

Chainsaw Man is still pretty great.

Wished Spy x Family had more meat to its newer chapters, but it's fine.

I plan to rewatch Monster in its dub since I heard it was actually good so that could be exciting. I do want to get back to Urusei Yatsura since I really kinda just neglected it and it was a pretty fun show.
started reading. this shit is pretty good. saw fate/strange fake got a bunch of new chapters since i last read it. may read the hole thing again after im done with redline.

Actually started reading strange fake, it's great, I'm in chapter 12 rn. Right now anime wise, after wrapping up fate Heavens Feel and Apocrrapha, both great, I started Garden of sinners

It definitely has the fate vibe, but way more on the dark supernatural aspect, and it feels like they were just figuring things out with the whole Nasuverse. Gonna watch movie 5 tonight, it just keeps getting better

I never did watch her movies. There like, 7-8 of them? Should make time for it since shiki is a cool Character.

It's noticeably darker but I'd say yes. And there's 10 all included though most are 1 hour. It's a little confusing at first since they alternate time periods between movies, but you'll get it

Should you watch them in realese order? I remember people making thse lists in what order to watch the films to make them less confusing.

I'd suggest chronological order. You really gain nothing by watching it in the weird, non-chronological release order.

And, yeah, Garden of Sinners is amazing. It's the only Type-Moon anime I've enjoyed.

FMA 2003 is pretentious drivel and that's being nice about it.
I wouldn't call it pretentious, but it is a fucking mess. Since they decided against going the One Piece route of just making boatloads of non-canon one-off stories as filler until the author released a new chapter the team had to make up their own story with what they had from the manga at the time and it shows.
The only people who preffer 2003 to Brotherhood are the ones that grew up with it, and that's fine there's nothing wrong with preffering something for nostalgia, but the people who claim 2003 is the better one are retarded lol

To be fair with 2003, the author approved of making them go their own route which is a fine idea in its own right.

That said, 2003 though is very weak with its melodrama, fucking up the brothers' dynamic, trying to tie-in the filler episodes for the finale, Wrath, the stuff with Dante and Envy which was not very good, and whatever the cyborg thing was.

I do think the best things about 2003 were Mustang, Lust, and Scar even if their arcs deviate from the manga they were a nice watch.

i wanted to watch fate/zero cuz urobuchi wrote it and he wrote madoka magica.

first watched stay night and i felt strangely nothing when watching it. the romance with saber was set up way too late.

zero starts out really well, but falls off quickly. i really hated waver because his character did not change at all throughout the show, so his friendship with alexander felt meaningless. kitsurugi destroying the holy grail was rushed. he changes his mind to do so after 5 minutes and saber's motivations dont recieve enough attention so kitsurugi's betrayal loses punch.

Discovered it with my free trial of Kindle Unlimited, then bought the two volumes there.
Title is "Female Knight and the Kemonomimi Child" (女騎士とケモミミの子).

Unironically, FMA 2003's story was superior to Brotherhood in every way and only smug midwits think Brotherhood is better solely on the virtue of being a carbon copy of the manga. If you like Brotherhood more because you prefer the more generic shonen style, that's fine and dandy and more power to you.

And before you go "but muh not following the manga", the mangaka of FMA personally oversaw the development of the separate story for the 2003 anime and ensured all the changes had her full approval.

And? Doesn't change that the 2003 FMA story is shit, the characters are melodramatic-whiny faggots and it just sucks. Just because the mangaka gives their nod, doesn't mean the shit is gonna be good in the end. An example is this and the new Trigun anime. Least Brotherhood was fun and not a fucking mess like 2003 series was.
