Eh. Takei to me comes off as one of those sorts who doesn't suffer from discrimination, he sort of wallows in it. He's his own brand of whiny SJW, but you're right in that he does deal with negativity from others much better. Of course, most of the Star Trek alums do, you can't be part of a franchise whose fans hate everything about it and not grow a thick skin.

Yup. He's always thrived on the negativity SJWs heap on them, because he calls them out on it. He's been saying forever that they want to silence him because they're afraid of him, now they've pretty much proven they do. This was the best possible outcome for him.
