Terrible Ideas: tranch farming sim (that isn't Rimworld)

• You start with 100 alpacas and the same amount of land the tranch had. You can buy more animals and you can buy more land, but you can't get rid of alpacas or other bought animals aside from death.
• You can grow crops on your land but they have a 1 in 3 chance of sprouting, worse if time goes on and soil is eroded by your herd
• Your main expenses are farmhands, the property, and the hoard . Paying and exploiting workers are equally possible, the property is general water food and power so theoretically can be upgraded. The hoard however....
• The hoard must grow. You have 2 family members beside yourself that you always start with who do barely any work. The three of you need hoard. You all have different addictions you put in little boxes, like "[YOUR NAME] has a preorder of [TRANSFORMERS/MTG/WINE COOLERS/J.O. CRYSTALS] they would like to purchase!" and must purchase a certain amount each month. If not, your sanity meter goes down and a greater need to consoom goes up. Your relative/polycule member might even take money out for the hoard if it is not satisfied, or if tough times are happening at the tranch.
• Sanity: yes, the horrors of the tranch come to life if you let your sanity become too low. You can balance it by being successful, having a good number of farmhands to exploit, and how much hoard you have. If too low, hallucinations or perhaps tulpas come and begin attacking the tranch, inflating tires and running around Wile E. Coyote style. You can also invest in guns to shoot hallucinations and unruly workers/farmhands on site, but farmhands cannot be bought.
• Alpaca death pit does not determine your sanity. There will be ghost and zombies that come from it for revenge if it gets too high, including any humans you dispose in there.
• You can also use gogriftmes to raise money and borrow from credit. These have the same problems they do IRL.
• Multiple endings, from IRS tax fraud, to barely eeking by while balancing the hoard but still happy, running off with some chick then she kills you (whether it's your body or soul), Waco, death by disgruntled worker, or summoning the dreaded alpaca death god by throwing too many dead bodies in the death pit (will not happen if dying of natural causes).

That is truly magnificent, and it's got the promise of so so much more. I've followed just one link from there, and I've come across this wonderful evolutionary analysis of furryism (is there such a noun?):

From what I can tell by looking at stuff from the fossil record, other modern species, and my own ancestral memory, it seems that a large part of the True Human Form evolved between 60mya and 85mya, around the time of our common ancestors with lemurs.

Another alternative would be to buy progesterone, hydroxyprogesterone, or other testosterone precursor and convert it to testosterone.

Porpentine is a troon who made Twine games back when that was trendy. He wrote disturbing short fiction and went into crybully/dfe mode after an unspecified bad event. I have no proof but I think the bad event was someone accusing him of being a creep, similar to what happened to Shmorky. He has a thread here.

I've noticed a trend where troons surface online, get 15 minutes of fame for being a brave-and-beautiful-warrior-against-the-dark-forces-of-Donald-Trump-and-radical-feminism, then completely disappear. Ok so in response to my stream... I am being asked for a summary of events,
I did my stream based on what I could tell as an outside observer that runs events there and visits on a semi-regular basis (definitely will do so more in Longmont..)

The timeline of events best I could tell at that time was:
1) New fae (Kindness) comes into the picture, becomes involved with Bonnie.
2) Apparently there was some kind of argument, where Kindness (may or may not) have had an incident with temporary blindness that (may or may not) have had to do with a seizure (nothing is ever confirmed about this)
3) Accusations of "faking symptoms" on one side, and "ableism" on the other side occur.
4) Bonnie and Kindness drift away from the TUR
5) Bonnie takes "fresh look" at TUR and starts making allegations on Twitter
6) At some point KF gets involved. There is suspicion that Bonnie threw them into the hornets' nest.
In this document I’m not even going to touch the KF aspect.

There are other random events, and they all seem to have to do with relationship issues. One person on twitter claims their life was ruined by TUR, but the only evidence seems to have to do with being in an ex-relationship with one of the operators.

Another incident where there was a sexual assault by someone who had come to stay there, and was removed due to it, particularly when they started making threats of gun violence, occurred.

The Westcliffe location is Bonnie's property, she wants everyone out now (which happened recently) and they plan to rebuild in Longmont. Another important reason for moving is because the Westcliffe location is not making for a safe place for LGBTQIA+ folks to find sanctuary, given the nature of the community around it.

Before I wanted to say anything else about it I decided to consult the Ranch themselves to get a more accurate account of events from their perspective. This is the result.

A few highlights (IMO):

• They really try to paint Bonnie as the villain. They act like he was a tyrant landlord who was solely responsible for bringing in & kicking out most of the field serfs (for "ableist" reasons), and they even said he once fired his gun inside the house to intimidate Penny. They're also accusing Bonnie of abusing Kindness and not adequately caring for her health... which is funny, because they also try to imply that Kindness is a faker.
  • We all know Penny was the cult leader, so pretending Bonnie was a tyrant falls flat for me. I also remember Penny saying in an old interview that it's important to vet / field test people before allowing them to join your commune (i.e. make sure they aren't freeloading stoners) or else you'll have "problems". So Penny was clearly involved in kicking out the field serfs as well.
• Sky actually worked as a caregiver before, and he instantly sniffed out that Kindness was faking her symptoms. Sky and Bonnie got in a argument, and Bonnie brought up a rape accusation against Sky... which he later recanted.
• Shiteater Jen said there was a plan to buy another property, but it's no longer needed. Confirmed they're down to just 10 alpacas, 5 goats, and 1 sheep. No mentions of the other animals.

Since they were still at the Tranch even after Bonnie left, then it must have been Penny who kicked them out.

Wtf, why are there multiple rape accusations being thrown around all of a sudden??? Bonnie did talk about being afraid of Sky because he made a mistake when he ran off with Kindness, but that was all chalked up to Sky calling Alyssa out for what she was. From my memory, nothing about Bonnie talking about Sky resembled anything on the level of rape (although troons are kind of retarded)

I may have the key for you. Excerpt from a post I made in late November of 2021 has the two of them smoking weed at the ranch. Bonnie was already gone, so he clearly didn’t kick them out. And at the same time, this kind of puts doubt into Jen’s claim that “contact petered out come November” because Bonnie is literally replying to their shit in a friendly manner (go to the full post, he’s in the replies in a tweet Penny made too).

And last night, one of the serfs tweeted out some photos of them partaking in the act of smoking weed with their boyfriend. [A] View attachment 2741888

Obviously there’s still the question of “how did they end up leaving then” and Jen actually answered that a week ago on fediverse (whether we believe it is anyone’s guess, I’ll hunt down the two lesbians later)
