There have been a handful of cases of women in their 60s going on to give birth to "healthy" children.

Thing is, after 13 children wouldn't you be done with childbearing and just enjoy your grandkids?

Didn't that Duggar sow, Michelle, birth kids into her 40s? I know her last was a miscarriage (stillborn?) but I don't know at what age she had the last live birth.

The double baby shower. Double gender reveal. The minute by minute SEVERE symptom updates. The most miraculous of miracle babies!! Then, matching outfit hell and constant one upping. Look, TWINS!!! The kids would hate each other.

This is very insightful.

As I understand it, 1 in 3 very, very early pregnancies will self terminate ( with most woman not even realizing she is pregnant, as they will loose the embryo at, or at most a few days after an anticipated period)

1 in 3 out of 14 is 4.666, and shes had 6 that we know of. Is there any particular reason why she seemed to have them back to back and so close together, as well as slightly more than average?

Was it finally the years and years of being used as a brood mare weakening her body and resources? I'm torn between that idea and the miscarriages having something to do in part with all of that Plexius stuff she shrills. Has she openly admitted to consuming it pre pregnancy and during? A quick look doesnt seem to list caffeine, but it has other things (that are less tested) that seem to act as stimulates, but more importantly greatly affect bloodsugar levels which I can only assume isnt good news for the fast metabolism of a budding embryo trying to establish itself.

She does. She looks like a current-day, fresh-faced woman in her early 20s, not a 40-something makeup saleswoman from the 1980s.

If they want to do MAAHDESTY, as in not trying to attract attention/lustful gazes, being content with God's gifts - Kaylee is doing it right - Jill is not.

I feel so sorry for Heidi and her whole family. Tim might be a retard and completely unable to ever provide for Heidi but it's not like any kind of harassment campaign will prevent her for marrying him. And she's clearly head over moon him - I hope she's like Jill in a sense that she'll stay head over moon for him for the next fourty years.

People need to lay off on harassing Heidi; with these kinds of fundies, all of the "worldly" naysayers will only prove the us vs. them mentality that they were brought up with and will make them double down in order to prove the naysayers wrong.

Not that I think any of the a-logs currently messaging her and her family actually have Heidi's best interests in mind, but are rather trying to create more drama where it doesn't need to be made. If they want her to have any self-agency, they need to let her learn for herself instead of provoking her into a position of isolation from the rest of the world.
 
Yeah the only interacting anyone should have with the Rods is calling CPS on Jill. Though I assume it's been done already, Ohio CPS just doesn't give a fuck :(

Amazing that so many fundies are hardcore pro-lifers, when God seems to have no problem yeeting one out of every three babies.

Bible apologists can twist themselves into logical pretzels explaining how God is "pro life", and fundies will scream that God hates abortion and that the Bible supports this; in reality, the exact opposite is true: in both the Old and the New Testament, God not only kills infants, but endorses it on several occasions.

The Old Testament is riddled with verses talking about how idolatrous nations will be punished by watching their pregnant women be ripped open with swords, and their childrens' heads crushed and smashed on the ground.

Numbers 5:11-31 describes a practice, prescribed by God Himself, where a woman suspected of adultery has her fidelity "tested" by drinking a poisonous concoction; if she's unfaithful, she will not only miscarry, but be rendered sterile for life.

Even the Hebrews, God's own chosen people, are not immune: Hosea 9:10-16 talks about God punishing the Israelites for their rebellion and idolatry by destroying their infants at birth or in the womb, or preventing them from ever being conceived in the first place.

And despite all the fanciful claims about children being "spared" when Jesus returns, Matthew 24:19 has Jesus proclaim, "Woe to pregnant women and those who are nursing" at the End of Days.

God is perfectly fine with babies dying, provided they're the "right" babies - i.e. the mothers of said babies are filthy, adulterous, idolatrous sinners. I would ask whether Jill ever blames herself and the condition of her soul for suffering so many SEVERE miscarriages, but we all know she's too much of a narcissist for that.

Hallie seems decent enough. I read another post she made about Timmy still having to win over her family before any wedding happens. I get the impression Heidi's dad isn't too happy with him.
 
Wonder if any of the Rodletts have noticed Jill is giving more love and attention to her late period than her actual living, existing kids?
