It's not really a conspiracy. Critics and journalists are bought and paid for all the time in the entertainment industry.

To be frank, I find it more tasteless that people made fun of Patton Oswalt's dead wife, seeing how that is related also to a young child losing her mother. Lindsay though I kind of get making jokes about her. Not about her abortion in particular, but about her behavior in general. Cause damn can she be a douche.
Though that said, I like to cross lines, so...

what is the difference between AVGN saying he makes a GBIII video and Lindsay Ellis in general?

The way I see it, she just burned her bridge with James Rolfe, someone that's quadruple the amount of relevant that she is, over reasons as petty as not seeing a movie. Figuratively speaking, she just snuffed out a cig on his face. Then James' fans tractor beamed a dwarf star toward her general vicinity.

Now would actually be a good time for Jason Pullara to jump in defense of James as a PR stunt to leech new fans from Rolfe's subscriber base. He'd be retarded if he didn't, since he's already hemorrhaged, what, 85% of his original fans?

Irony of all ironies, if you scroll up or down, you'll see him sperging about DC butchering their IPs, suggesting that they should do TV shows instead of movies, which is ironic because every DC show ever made has been complete garbage.

Best part is, his number one complaint about the movies is they want to be taken seriously. Like, no shit? Nobody wants to see another Schumacher production.

So far, he seems like a boring sperg that isn't noteworthy. Then he joined in on the transtrender bandwagon. Now he is known as Hannah Mochrie.

Like CWCissey said, he seems to be keeping it personal.

Though, while searching for info on this, I found a couple articles [1] [2] about Colin and his wife showing support for LGBT youth-related organizations and events. Which indicates they probably support Hannah/Luke's identity and "transition", so that's nice.
