I think the only reason anyone would buy any of Fat Rick's books is because they are printed on paper in some convenient brick and mortar shop and look like a throwaway SF book you could read on a flight or a beach or whatever. Nobody is sitting up waiting for the next Fat Rick book.

Selling a lot of ebooks doesn't mean your books are good, necessarily, but it does mean people actually wanted that specific product and sought it out over other just as easily available products.

Not only did he appear on that podcast but he tried to come across as a tough guy while doing so. "If I ever do see any of them, it'll end very quickly and very poorly for them and they all know it!"

I still remember laughing when that episode was first released on YouTube since all the other thumbnails for the episodes surrounding it were of middle aged women who told their tales of how they had to move across the country to escape their psycho stalker exes. Then you've got Fatrick's fat, deranged mug in the middle of them.

He's fat is what I'm getting at here.
