See now thats not fair if he pulls up dials back on coomer shit why hold it against him? Infact wouldnt repenting just invite mocking and trolling vs him just slowly chilling the locals and discord people down?
Everyone but his locals cult of leathery horndogs would welcome it. But he’s irrevocably damaged his reputation. If he pulls up it will clearly be only to stop the negative reaction, not because he actually has any morals or self control.

The illusion is already broken. There's going to be a segment of his audience that he will never be able to get back.

I do understand what you're saying, the problem is as:
Everyone but his locals cult of leathery horndogs would welcome it. But he’s irrevocably damaged his reputation. If he pulls up it will clearly be only to stop the negative reaction, not because he actually has any morals or self control.
says, this has done a lot of damage to his reputation. It wouldn't have been so bad if he hadn't presented himself as this Conservative Christian wholesome Midwestern family man, the total 180 between that and the weird 40 year old coomer was jarring, and its the impression of hypocrisy thats going to be the hardest to get away from.
He doesn't owe anyone anything at the end of the day, but if he's sincere about course correcting, a frank statement (doesn't have to be an apology, its his life) and explaination, if he came out and just said that he's been going through some shit, and he went a little off the rails for a time there, but he's taken all the concern on board, and he's working to deal with whatever issues it is he had that made him turn into a coom obsessed deviant at 40. Particularly if he would be honest about his drinking (which I think is obviously a big cause of the mess he's gotten into) I think he'd find quite a few people would at least respect the honesty.
Everyone can fuck up, everyone can go off the rails, its the denying theres a problem, and the shifting of blame that gets on peoples nerves. Its addict behavior, quite frankly, and like a lot of people who have struggled with addiction, if he was at least to be upfront and open about his struggle, I think it would go a long way towards him getting back the confidence and sympathy he's lost.
Its a shame because I did like Nick, a lot of the vitriol he's experiencing is because at the minute it looks like he was playing a roll to cozen his fans, and frankly his "I've always been like this" statements, and his shameless "I'm a grifter" persona, isn't helping.

tl;dr I’m going to rant about churches for half a page

Isn’t he catholic? If he is, he’s either lapsed and is going to a generic Protestant modern church, or he’s unfortunate enough to have a new age boomer Catholic Church with a mid priest. That might be his only option if he’s in a small town with one or few parishes.
One related thing. Nick went into court to defend a woman who had stolen a bunch of money locally. She had a minister husband who went gay and she claimed that she had stolen the money to save her marriage. It was an odd case for Nick to be involved in and I always wondered if Nick's involvement was somehow related to going to that church.

Nick was raised Catholic but the Racketeers go to some wishy washy non-denominational thing, or they just watch it on tv. I'm assuming he switched for Kayla, but it could be they went to this place because Catholicism was cramping their style, and was probably closer to their house.
SO, Kiwi may have already figured much of this out but the Internet loves repetition... so I will go forth.

Also, these are PUBLICLY AVAILABLE docs. I spent less than 40 min on this. Church groups keep a lot on their websites. So, LOCAL DUMMIES, keep sperging - lol.

So, yes, Nick was raised Catholic. His parents still seem to contribute to the local Catholic church as of 8 years ago. https://content.parishesonline.com/bulletins/02/0397/20151004B.pdf (some kind of fundraiser ).

He's got a lot to say about religion here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TO0nYpUA4lw&list=PLJdwBXWZFqz6Xber9R0y0hM3x8n03xCqa. He throws a lot of shade on Mormons and entertains the idea that Mary was raped. So, wow, there's that. Remember when Nick was open-minded and INTERESTING? Also, he's clearly converted to Lutheranism (Norweigen thing, for Kayla- it's not a secret). (Sorry, guys, I suck at clipping. The vid is a slog but it's all there.)

In Spicer/Willmar, he is part of a Lutheran crowd that genuinely does good works https://lcmwillmar.wixsite.com/lutherancampusminist. He was once (maybe still is) on the Board. This is from 2017/18. (I'd post the link for the flier for this info but the personal info on it.)

Kids probably go here for camp - he whines about the pick ups/drop offs https://www.gllm.org/summer-camp.html - it's a pan-Lutheran thing. Checks out bc there are limited cabins and he's bitched about that.

That leaves the question of which Lutheran church. There are three to choose from:
Green Lake looks way too tiny and odd.
Vinje seems too progressive.
That leaves https://faithspicer.org/ . I'm guessing it's that. Despite homeschooling they want their kids socialized and this Church is a force.

Random nothing but this amused me:

Better you than me. I've got at least 6 psychopaths with VERY LARGE gun collections on Locals who know who I am, have threatened rape and torture... and are often genuinely unhinged in chat. One never knows...
I wouldn't worry about it. You need to be more than just unhinged to throw your life away over some petty e-drama. Very, very rarely do these things leak out into real life - and when they do, it's either the Gunt getting KO'd in Portugal or some WoW nerd Canadian healthcaring some other WoW nerd. I don't think you're the Gunt, and if you don't play WoW I'm pretty sure you're safe. That said, you obviously shouldn't share information that you're not comfortable sharing.

That's fair. I've noticed at least a few times already that he has brought up how he has all your information and your full name and phone number saying how he would "never reveal it". Yet he still makes a point to bring it up whenever you are mentioned, almost like he's trying to warn or intimidate you. The information you've provided is great so far, we can fill in any blanks you're ever uncomfortable with.

These people are putting massive investment into an alcoholic paralegal (Calling him a lawyer these days feels inaccurate) who can compliment and suck their dick one day and turn around literally the next day calling them cunts, retards, and husks for relatively minor infractions.
All a lawyer is is someone with a license to practice law, which he has. Even Kevin Landau from the Maddox lolsuit is a lawyer (unless he's wrapped his car around a tree driving drunk and died since then). It's not a compliment (rather the opposite), just a signifier of a professional qualification.

The dumbest fuck in medical school who graduated last in his class and barely got his license is still called "Dr. So-and-So."

Re: Nick on religion. I remember one night he mentioned he thought the Catholics and the Protestants have it wrong. I’m genuinely interested in his theological views. So, if you’re reading Nick, I’d like to hear what your thoughts are.
Unless he has decided to go the Orthodox Church route for his theology, that's an interesting take.

I assure you that is NOT Lutheran doctrine and not in the Lutheran Catechism.
Unless Nick is attending one of those woke synods, who have thrown orthodoxy to the wind (quite honestly other denominations are having to deal with blaspheming heretics infiltrating the clergy and steering the churches based on societal norms. It's been a growing problem for 15 years).

I mean there's this one guy who loves John Goodman and he's a lawyer. What is the world coming too.

I agree with you, but I‘d still like to hear whatever take he has.

On the attendance of people at church - speaking as a Catholic - it’s really no exaggeration to see the Latin Mass/“traditional“ leaning Novus Ordo parishes far more packed every Sunday. Same for Eastern rite parishes I’ve seen (but as a Latin, I don’t have a good gauge on that). A ton of very young families at them, too.

This has been an experience I’ve had across the country, so it’s not necessarily regional.
He used to recommend this podcast for those curious about the Bible: https://thebiblefornormalpeople.com/podcast/

I can't claim to be any kind of real Christian, but listening to a couple episodes of this convinced me that Nick's opinions on theology should not be trusted, and was the first hint as to what a creepy retard he would turn out to be. The podcast is nothing but typical modern lefty revisionism, with every guest either being some kind of queer feminist or race baiting brown person decrying Christians for their original sin of whiteness. That he considered it worth attention is a black mark on him for more than religious reasons.

Nick is also fond of the Marxist Critical Literary Theory he learned in his garbage creative writing undergrad program, and has repeatedly claimed applying it to the Bible is "useful". I can't imagine how relieved his local church must have been when he stopped teaching youth Bible study.

So much for the daytime streams being still good, I turned on Rekieta about 30 minutes ago and there was some random woman I've never heard of in the midst of a Warski tier boxed wine incident as a guest. Any idea who the hell this person is?

I presumed that they went at some point to either the church her husband was a minister at or the church she was working at afterwards. The names of both are in Nick's motion for downward departure that Jennifer Fischer made her opinions of very clear.

I would be surprised if he went to an actual Lutheran church based on his idiosyncratic theological opinions that have apparently been posted here.

I assure you that is NOT Lutheran doctrine and not in the Lutheran Catechism.

In middle-of-nowhere, MN? Probably not. He's more likely at a non-denominational place that doesn't care.

From what I've seen of his past couple of shows (at least on YouTube, I have no idea about his faggot Locals hot tub homosexuality) he's trying to dial back the coomer shit and put on a show more like he used to, but as other people have said, it's too late for me. I've lost respect for him, and little things that I used to ignore now grate on me. He's not who he made himself out to be, and while I don't really care about his coomer shit other than to find it contemptuous, what I hate is hypocrisy.
Nick has two problems.

1. The coomer shit and hypocrisy caused his social credit score to nosedive even among people who liked him and stuck it out with him for years.

2. Leaving that aside, Nick has always had his share of critics on the Farms that have mocked his legal acumen, or lack thereof. People outside of Weebwars, and this thread, might not have seen it very clearly if they only haunted a few select pro-Nick threads (and this one used to be one of them). You can trace that all the way back to 2019, if not earlier, if you know where to look. There were actually a lot of people on the Farms that thought Weebwars was dumb, and the whole thing was a grift. The Farms was more split on Nick than I think a lot of people might realize.

Weebwars functioned as a bulwalk that blunted a lot of that, but Weebwars is pretty much over now. And it didn't exactly end on a high note. I highly doubt there's gonna be a sequel involving Nick and some other case that will cause an entire subforum to be created again. I don't think anybody around here in 2023 sees Nick as the credible lawyer they were hoping for back in 2019.

I think if Nick straightened out, he can still have a successful e-career. There's plenty of people who still like him. I don't think he's "ruined." That said, I do think his reputation is hosed as far as KF is concerned though. It might be a bit presumptuous of me, but I'm not feeling the "friend of the Farms" vibe from Null and others that I used to. It's feels more like "well, this ended in abject disappointment."

Remember that you don't have to be a utter failure to be a lolcow. There's plenty of financially successful lolcows, and Nick may very well continue to be one of them. You just have to be a person on the Internet that does stupid and criticism worthy shit that people can chew the fat over. That's Nick now.
