All discussion of the candidates, updates and results should go here

For example- here's a video of Ted Cruz vying for world domination.

Also Hilary Clinton is a crook and nobody should have sex with her.

Discuss

Trump wins West Virginia and Nebraska
Bernie wins West Virginia.

No wonder Bernie hasn't dropped out, the Democratic Party is more split than the Republican Party from tonight's results.

Eh, contrary to the opinion on reddit, the polls show something like three-quarters of Sander's supporters are completely fine with Clinton being the nominee, they just prefer Sanders, so there's no harm in voting for him--it's not like Bernie can come back and take the pledged delegate lead at this point, he's picking up roughly 1-2% of the delegates he needs to get out of his deficit and edge out Clinton. Short of her suddenly getting indicted, or getting Sirhan Sirhan'd, it's over.

Plus, the polls seem to show that the Bernie-or-Bust people are roughly half as numerous as Clinton's PUMAs from 2008, and they still in the end overwhelmingly went to Obama when it was all said in done. They both have their states where they're preferred, but most supporters will be fine with either candidate at the end of the day. Especially what with their alternative on the right being Donald Trump. PUMAs could at least have argued going to McCain in the end because he was a more moderate man. Though on a similar note, I equally think the #NeverTrump crowd is most likely going to get over it in the end and vote for him anyway, these sort of coalitions never hold.

Maddow pointed out that the number of Republican voters who said they were "uncomfortable" with Trump as the nominee are 21%. This is identical to the number of Democrats who said the same about Hillary. Both numbers are less than the number of Democratic PUMAs initially upset about Obama last time around (who almost all came around and ultimately voted for him).

So the idea of mobs of enraged Republicans leaving the party and not voting is vastly overestimated. The number dissatisfied are essentially identical to the number of Democrats. So if Hillary has no reason to worry about PUMAs, neither does Trump in his own party. He has tons of other problems. That's just not one of them.

Lol, someone has been circulating instructions on making a chlorine bomb claiming that it will make a "Bernie Sanders Glowstick".
If you're dumb enough to fall for that, frankly you kind of deserve to get gassed. It'll help clean out the gene pool.

Regardless of your feelings on Trump, can I please assume that we're all sick of shit like this being plastered over the news?
