It is unfortunate, but he would have to navigate these issues sooner or later in life now. He shouldn't but he has to.

That mean's he's probably with one of the associated academies.... Probably not Dallas, Houston, Austin or Alamo (San Antonio) community colleges since their pretty blue leaning. That leaves Midland, Tarrant and Blinn. Given that he says he goes to A&M games he must go to Blinn in Brenham since it's close to College Station, the others remaning are at least 2.5 + hour drives

In a vacuum, it's not bad. The fake-hostile angle gives the interviewee an opportunity to get some things off his chest.

Kyle is clearly very reserved and careful with his answers, and Nick, who I've always considered to be a very good interviewer, should've picked up on that and taken a different tack.

He is doing a good job avoiding the landmines. I'm not sure what the point the interview would even be though if some of the questions aren't even asked, even if he does have to decline to answer them. There are around 20,000 people watching across platforms, and surely some are curious. Maybe the interview is too late and gay after all, especially since he's being sued and just wants to move on.

You couldn't get more perfect with what happened with Kyle, other than him not being attacked at all.

No rounds hit people who were not attacking him.

His only miss was the only non-white person attacking him at a BLM riot.
