Kyle really need to work on his banter. He comes across a bit too dry.
This is a result of everything being scripted and never being forced to improvise
You tend to be either extremely dry or have the "dark humor is like food, not everyone gets it" type humor if you see real shit like Kyle did. It's probably safer legally if Kyle doesn't go "Well I should've told Binger to sit down and shut up with a gaping wound to the chest" or "Yeah lighting that bitch up was like playing a cod match, minus the kill streak bonuses" or "I nailed that pedo like I nailed your sister".
Kyle got ambushed. I guess this is the start of Nick's move to the left. Nick is deliberately asking trap questions and even hostile questions. There is no excuse for what he is doing.
I think Nick is just grifting for the money and couldn't give two shits if Kyle is gonna get burned (Or too braindead to think). At least Kyle has the sense to stay silent and not respond.

Edit: Oh boy balls or no balls question coming.

Maybe he's just a dumb kid who did what he thought was right and ended up in a situation he didn't understand. Maybe the only reason he's even alive against the scum who tried to murder him was he was a good shot. And now he doesn't really understand the situation he's in.

Maybe people shouldn't try to manipulate him into being a puppet for whatever dumb political bullshit they want to use him for and instead respect him as a person.

I know, that's weird, that's radical, that's bizarre, nobody would do that these days.

You spoke to soon my friend.
Maybe Null was right, maybe anime is a mistake.

Some of the jokes are rather questionable. I'm also surprised he didn't send Kyle a list of questions he wanted to ask that might be sensitive before the interview. No one likes pre-screened questions but when the person may be liable for shit still it makes sense if you're on a time limit.

Edit: Jesus Nick, you ask him about the assailants and how he views them as people when he literally said he's in a civil suit with one of the families.
Just now, after the futa question: "You know, I'm going to start having to do pre-approved questions"

If Kyle is involved in civil suits, then why are his lawyers letting him do these stupid interviews?
He seems to have a good grasp of what he can and can't answer. Unlike Nick who proceeds to ask questions he knows he obviously shouldn't.

Nick, if you read this, stop drinking. You might not think you're feeling it, but if you take a month off of it, you'll see a difference.

AND he asked the balls question, and coached Kyle that the correct answer is balls!

Kyle is probably thinking "What the fuck am I doing here?"

Kyle is doing a very good job dodging the questions that could get him in serious trouble. Nick isn't helping any.

This interview is total garbage, and shouldn't have even happened.

Based Kyle does not watch anime. He is disturbed by it.
That is a good thing.

He should have tried doing it sober.

Nick has nuked his career outside of freaks who give stupid interviews they shouldn't give.

I guess his leathery wine-mom, mom, aunt, or whatever career remains intact. I guess he can continue to milk that.

Nobody sane is ever going to give this clown an interview again.

Nick allows the incels the right to free speech, but he does not think they should exercise it. At least, that's what I presume was on his mind when he discussed free speech.

But it's fucked up that Kyle is in a position where he's having to protect himself. Again. That's literally why you have lawyers - to advise against shit like this. It's like he has no one actually looking out for him.

He is facing alot of expensive litigation. The interviews are designed to keep him in the public memory and to create new sympathy for his situation.
I'm sure they also thought, based on past coverage, that Nick would be a friendly interview. I don't think they would have done this interview if they had known Nick was going to do what he is doing.
