Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I think it's been well-established that most children experiencing "dysphoria" who are allowed to mature and desist (the majority) end up as homosexuals. It's not too far-fetched imo.

is uncertain because we don't have, and maybe will never have, sound data, for political reasons (when people are allowed to question troon "research", it will mean the troons have already lost), ethical reasons ("let's groom some children and set them right again!"), as well as basic experiment design. Children who overcame "dysphoria" have already been groomed. We don't know what they'd grow up into if "LGBTQIA educators" (pedophiles) and online support communities (pedophiles) didn't get to them first. Many girls were sex-repulsed and can only be comfortable around other young women. Many boys were coomers who easily satisfied their proclivities with other males and may be unwilling to settle for matching the sex drive and sexual mores of a woman. This is true. We raise kids to behave and dress certain ways to follow social norms and be appealing to the opposite sex. Gay kids are drawn to the opposite sex's gender roles and stereotypes, because they want to be appealing to the same sex. This is likely true, but the original assertion has the smell of something that feels intuitively true but might not be, like "heavier objects fall faster". Troonism may look superficially the same, but the origin is different. It's 100% media-driven. The first iPhone was released in 2007, it hasn't even been a generation. Whatever evolutionary mechanisms sustain homosexuality are inapplicable here.
Parents who pale at the idea of having a gay kid might pay top dollar to yeet teets and chop cocks all in order to play pretend that they have a "straight" kid. Plus, there's no drug on this planet that gets you higher than feeling oh-so-special for having an oh-so-special trans kid.
Parents who'd mutilate a child for clout are a very strange cohort. But even supposing they're motivated by homophobia and are reacting, instead of simply grooming the child from the cradle -- was the kid actually genuinely "gay-acting", or did the parents pounce on a single instance of suspicious "gender-nonconforming" behavior?

I'd say there was good evidence
if the troon grooming pipeline only / disproportionately touched gay kids, like through Gay-Straight Alliances (more gay members than genpop), and most straight kids wouldn't even know troonism was a thing or an option. But now kids get groomed before they hit puberty, and once they do, the straight ones may have more motivation to troon out than the gays. The effects of porn are different between the sexes: gay boys acquire a better idea of what kind of men other men like (manly men -- not troons), while gay girls discover "lesbian" is a porn genre and want to identify out.
Dooming your own flesh and blood to an early grave or a long miserable life is irrelevant.
Adopted / foster children get trooned out somewhat more often than birth children.
