I feel as if Ethan's retarded, degenerate father might be a key component in explaining why Ethan is such a colossal fuckup?

Granted, there is the obvious answer of an unfortunate genetic heritage, but seeing as Klein Snr is all too happy to wear clothing in honor of pornographic websites, and unabashedly contacts young (teenage?) pornstars over social media on a continuous basis, I believe there might be some sort of perverted and decadent influence from Ethans upbringing that has helped shape him into the repulsive manchild he is today.

Is there more in-depth information about ol' Gary? Perhaps the mother is equally as deviant?

I think you nailed it perfectly. Ethan never really changed, he just leaned into a political side and got even edgier and immature.

Maybe if he just indulged on this side, and accepted the fact that he acts like an edgy teenager just with different political beliefs, I think many of us would be able to tolerate him to a better degree. But he just ends up coming off as retarded and spineless because his opinions are shit and he still believes he's matured since then.

Remember when he came at the Fine brothers for trademarking "React"? He accused them of being bad stereotypes of money hungry Jews because they basically wanted to monetize the entirety of the React market for themselves. Those were the days.

It isn't his immaturity that is the problem, him being an asshole is the problem. Guy is fucking 37 and keeps acting like an edgy retarded teenager trying to prove his worth, I vividly remember meeting people that were both more mature and stable than Ethan during my years in High School. He had twenty fucking years to grow up and he didn't, and pretty much everything about this guy screams insecurity. He acts like he has to be the focus of attention at every turn, completely ignoring every single bit of advice about proper conduct as an entertainer!

Having a youthful spirit isn't a problem. I just watched a quick video about Leslie Nielsen, he embraced his love of fun and goofy antics and was a happy man. He brought a fart machine to every other interview and got plenty of jokes about it, I wouldn't call Leslie immature precisely because he didn't make headlines over acting like an idiot every other week, unlike Ethan!

Fuck, I really don't like this guy, but he's got a wife and kids. He doesn't realize that he can't simply tank his brand like that, it means his wife (the other part of the duo) gets fucked as well, let alone his kids! He really needs to grow up, or at least stop acting like the reverse Kanye and simply shut the fuck up for once!

They really blame Jesus for everything that happens to them, and his followers by extension. It's almost like they don't realize their behaviour in the first place caused him and his to become a religion on the scale they are through their actions. Could anyone possibly be sympathetic towards this douche if he went through with a mock crucifixion of Jesus, and he was horribly beaten for doing so? At this point it almost seems like he's trying to bait everyone to fuck with him so he can go on the, "Boo hoo, Poor me," defensive like Boogie does.
