I have to wonder if these images contributed to the show dying a premature death after only two seasons.

OT: Mindhunter was produced by David Fincher. On top of Fincher’s busy schedule, the cost of filming on location in Pittsburg and Netflix’s notorious penny pinching was what lead to its hiatus. It's because douching is actually prescribed by Drs as post op care of these men, while women have been told to never douche as it disrupts healthy natural flora- just use a feminine pH neutral soap (other soap will strip your vag of flora needed for self cleaning,), cotton underwear, washing regularly (duh), cranberry juice for utis, a healthy diet sometimes including probiotics if you're lacking.
Because troons take health advice for women it doesn't work obviously- their pH balance is the same as the rest of their skin. Douching with near bleach is the only thing that works to help neovag hygiene.
Its as nutty as recommending pap smears or cervix screens, a troon getting them regularly, but still getting prostate cancer and complaining.
